Wayyyy back in the beginning... (my beginning) YOU were the reason I wanted to learn to pour. While I lack your calibre of talent, you're the inspiration. These I just adore... And thank you. Your being absolutely real teaches confidence.
Good morning Annemarie. What an awesome way to start my Sunday - cup of coffee and watching you make stunning stuff. Love this - am going to do it today. Housework can wait. I laughed out loud at folk finding paint pouring boring...... I find it all consuming and really gratifying. Mixing the paint is a huge chilax. Cheers, DEB T
So incredibly beautiful! I love how the cells just continue to grow and blossom within minutes, just like watching flowers bloom :) The plastic on the table also helped tremendously with that noise from the pushpins, you're a champ 👍
You are so thoughtful and patient. I love listening to you talk! Your work is amazing, but really the magic is you. Thank you for sharing yourself with us.
Phenomenal triptych!! Absolutely love these, they each could easily stand alone yet are so amazingly matched that I think they could be grouped together in various order and/or direction, giving the buyer loads of hanging options, can't wait to see them up-close tomorrow and see their full development 💙💙💙
I think the word you've been looking for about the Galeria paint it that Galeria is a line of Windsor & Newton. I love your videos, finally did my first painting yesterday. I've done 3, very happy overall with how they've come out. Two will be used as backgrounds for mixed media pieces. The 3rd one I'm going to add some details to when it's dry and give as a gift. I'm sure I'll do many more! Thanks for the inspiration and information you share with us.
I always LOVE your paintings and you are a great inspiration to me. Do you ever use micas (eg Primary Elements)together with acrylic paints? I have tried it several times but the micas always goes into the background . What I have not tried yet is to mix micas into paint (white?). Have you??? Now it's time for me to try making three in a row - in metallics... :)
yes I have some videos with primary elements...d a search on my channel and put in primary elements...must be at least 20. ♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥ ♥Thank you for watching ♥
I love it! One question about the silicone, here in UK I only find the silicone sealant for bathrooms and kitchens, is that the same thing, will it work?
lovely lovely lovely, just dropping you a line l watch you every day I am so grateful , you have allowed me to. become v good through your teaching methods, saying just enough so mistakes are still made, well know you only discover by making a cockup, so thankyou again so much 😍
I agree with you about blowing to change the piece. It doesn't have the naturalness of the paint flowing of itself; blowing can be great but for me it's a bit of a meddler's thing.
What a beautiful original painting & now the adjoining pictures. I could hear you much better in the last few video,s . Have you written a book on all the ways & on all different material ,s, paper, wood China, ? . Have you ever tried using olive oil in place of silicone ?I have not begun yet, it has taken me several mos. TALKING TO MY HUSBAND TO CLEAN OUT THE FRONT DEN ( CATCH ALL OF OUR EXTRA,S) Then in Jan. I hope to start marveling on water.. If you do not have an instruction book out or if you do, how & where can I get it? If not, can you recommend an instruction book for me. I live in Canada. Thank you so much for your time & expertise. Keep the videos coming.,!
Prima...manchmal ist es genau die Kunst....den Zeitpunkt des aufzuhören zu finden... Du hast es geschafft... es ist so toll geworden und ich freue mich auf die Nahaufnahme in Kürze. LG Uschi sto
Beautiful pour. I'm going to try it. Be nice over the tv. In an earlier video I told you I wasn't getting cells. I have my studio under my covered porch outside. I live in So. California. I think that's ok. I tried a new bottle of floetrol . It gave me cells. Yay. Have you ever experienced an older bottle of floetrol going bad?
I never have old bottles...the longest I have Floetrol is 3 weeks...I order small so my customers get fresh stuff. ♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥ ♥Thank you for watching ♥
Trouble with Vallejo polyurethane gloss varnish. I am using ultrect and Vallejo fluid paints. I use floetrol and treadmill silicone in the paint. I allow cure time and clean as you direct. I can't figure out why I am getting cracking from this varnish. Tried watering down it it was worse. Another I add silicone and rubbed like resin. Still cracked. Any suggestions? I am stumped.
Polyurathane is tricky...the humidity in which you varnish has a lot to do with it too. Did you wait 2-3 weeks after cleaning? ♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥ ♥Thank you for watching ♥
Acrylic pouring is addictive and always a fun experiment not to mention that there is always an element of surprise. Keep up the great work in your beautiful new studio. Cheers! I wish you would phonetically spell the dutch phrase you use at the end of your videos after you tell us you love us all. Hugs back at ya!
Love love love what you said about being in the zen mood for all the before pouring time :-) I think the same and you made me laugh! Thank you so much for all your videos, i am a big fan of you! From Montréal, Québec, Canada xo
Hi annmarie i put my spray silicone in a bottle like u said a while back and it has not made any difference to the pinholes. I think they are due to air bubbles in the paint.
Goodmorning AnneMarie. Your work is incretibly beautiful! Thank you! May I ask if this technique and mediums are dangerous? It happens that I have breathing problems lately, and my doctor asked me to check on the toxicity etc. of the paints, varnishes etc.
please understand I'm not trying to be funny but could you possibly use a lubricant such as KY or some other kind either for the thicker consistancy or just in a pinch cause you have nothing else available?
We don`t have the type you are talking about...just buy treadmill lubricant...100% silicone works like a charm. ♥ Thank you ♥ ♥Thank you for watching ♥
Sorry folks’ level of irritability is so low-push pins help keep the canvas UP as the paint rolls off the sides. You just do what is best for you, Teacher😁

No it won`t work,,,I`m also in the uk and have to get the silicone from Amazon...hope this helps.
I sell to the UK all the time... www.blazingcolours.eu

What happens if you put silicone in the white when you're making the titanium background before pouring the colours onto it?
Just curious.
Thanks.
you get a lot of dents in the white...not very pretty.

I can't figure out why I am getting cracking from this varnish. Tried watering down it it was worse. Another I add silicone and rubbed like resin. Still cracked. Any suggestions? I am stumped.
Cracking usually means that too much depth of paint was left on the canvas and/or that the paint was too thick.
Polyurathane is tricky...the humidity in which you varnish has a lot to do with it too. Did you wait 2-3 weeks after cleaning?

Hi annmarie i put my spray silicone in a bottle like u said a while back and it has not made any difference to the pinholes. I think they are due to air bubbles in the paint.
let your paint rest a few hours...paint quality is important too some foam more than others.
