    *Photographer Carmine Taverna Defines Street Photography in these words;
    Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge. Street photographers do not necessarily have a social purpose in mind, but they prefer to isolate and capture moments which might otherwise go unnoticed.
    ***Why are CCD cameras better?
    CCD sensors create high-quality, low-noise images. CMOS sensors are usually more susceptible to noise. Because each photosite on a CMOS sensor has several transistors located next to it, the light sensitivity of a CMOS chip tends to be lower, as many of the photons hit the transistors instead of the photosite.

    The following is a Rebecca West Quote.
    "Any authentic work of art, must start an argument, between the artist and his audience."
    Must Read
    "Photographic art overlaps with the landscape, portraiture, and other photography types. It is defined by the artist's vision and approach to get distinct photographs. Unlike other forms of photography, fine art photography is about capturing what the artist sees instead of what the camera sees. It is just another tool for artists to produce their art."
    (Quote from N.F. I. The Nashville Film Institute)
    **The CCD was invented in 1969 at Bell Labs by Willard Boyle and George Smith. Since that CCD FILM LIKE SENSOR was sensitive to light it was used as image sensor for video and TV cameras. It could also be used as a memory device or analogue signal delay since it's principally a kind of analogue shift-register circuit.

    I have two 5D. On one, this lens is basically "glued" onto it since it's introduction 2012, after i've had read the photozone review, and bought that optic in June 2012. It's the best combo in terms of IQ, and price/performance.

    This is one of my favorite lenses - for both digital and analog cameras. On the Canon EOS 5D classic, it's magnificent, and with the all metal Canon lens hood (ES-52) it's really flat even with a lens hood attached. I also got the 24mm ef-s pancake lens for my Canon EOS 90D and 300D to get the 40mm equivalent lens for my APS-C sensor cameras - that's how much I like it.

    Hey Carmine! Again very well made! I just ordered this tiny thing for my 6d1 and hope I found a perfect match! Would you consider this to be better than 35mm for street and travel?

    Hey Carmine very cool lesson. One question, can you use a close up lens attachment without getting vignetting?

    • @CarmineTavernaPhotography
      @CarmineTavernaPhotography  Рік тому +2

      Since close up filters are all different, some do and others do not vignette.

      @@CarmineTavernaPhotography thanks so that is a variable to look at if i were to use a close up filter to enhance macro shots.
