Memory lane and reminiscing my college years in Cebu while watching your video. Those were the good ole days in late 1980s, before coming here in the U.S. TY
I like the nice presentation of this place. It makes me remember when am.on my youger years when I was still studying in CEBU. Kudos I will be visiting this place this year..
Im just in cebu but im watching this because i love walking along these streets. Sadly cant go around because of rising cases and comorbidities of my senior mam. Love your vlog mam!
Sege ko ug agi anang lugara wa gyuy pagka usab ang building kara an lang gihapon na a lang gihapon ang mga sidewalk vendors.I really missed Cebu because I love ❤️ cebu very much.
A nice walking tour from Manalili Street to Colon Street, still not very busy as it used to be before the pandemic! Great sharing, please post more! Best regards/Ned 🌹👏🌹
Never knew till now that Gilmore is still operational. We ( my family) used to have our shoes repaired w/ them in the 80‘s!💯👌 Good to see Colon area @ downtown this clean !💖Thanks for another informative video like always VPP!🌹
Before the pandemic, I had planned on going to Manalili to see what kinds of fabric and sewing notions that I'd like to craft with. Since then I've gotten a lot of similar things on Lazada. Still, it would be fun to stroll around and see what's interesting..

Maam--I've always been curious with the fruit vendors--what happens when some fruits start to get too ripe t0o sell? What do the vendors do with them.? The Vision Theatre-- we used to see old Jackie Chan movie's there. Colon Street has a lot of local color.
I can spend hours just walking around in downtown Cebu. The place is more appeal to foreigners than modern malls like SM or Ayala. Colon St. before pandemic used to have lots of people and jeepney, and hawkers doing their trade on the footpath.
You are partially correct. You forgot to add they also eat a lot of sugar. I have never tasted sweet spaghetti and sweet pizza till I went to the Philippines. Most bread are laden with sugar.Dental care is also negligible, and no health education to prevent/detect diseases early. The Philippines is blessed with a climate that you can grow fruits and vegetables year round. Yet, the powers that be do not seem to encourage healthy eating. Filipinos seemed to prefer eating the very unhealthy Jollibees, pizzas, etc.
Nindot pa ghapun ang colon ug manalili.salamat sa tour ma'am 😃👍❤💯🙏

Filipino meal is high carb, high sodium, low protein ... no wonder a lot people have no teeth and die young...

It's our nature of life.. It doesn't matter you live longer or die young..
It's not your business..
