yeah i discussed this with someone a few years ago on youtube as well. this was a very shortlived subgenre with syncopated loud/deep subbasslines which doesnt have a name and was largely made by Omnia, the blizzard and Andy moor. It was only around from I think 2007- 2011ish and not many tracks were released. Interestingly this sound seems to have mostly negative conotations, often called "trouse" (trancey house) with people hating on it. Might explain why it was not around that long. My friends dont like it and find it too boomy.

It's so true. To be sure to find good trance you often have to turn to the past. Today, bangers are very rare.
