To think of it this was what we had that was closer to assassin's creed at the time. Love the game. Played the hell out of this game when I had it. Scary part about it though is the fact the whole game was a time limit to see if u are able to save the princess. If the time runs out the princess dies.
This soundtrack is abosolutely outstanding, especially this track. It captures so much the mystical essence of the game. One of the most beautiful pieces from SNES era. Also the best Prince of Persia version, imho. Unfortunately they never gave the same treatment to Prince of Persia 2. =/
music was so awesome in this game. it set the whole mood for the game for me back then. the genesis port is fine graphically. but the sound on the genesis? garbage! why? it used the GEMS sound engine and well over 100 games did as well and they almost ALL sounded horrible. warriors of the eternal sun sounded decent, but thats 1 out of 100! some argue with me the genesis sound chip was better than the snes. when games used sampled sounds or u had guys like tim follin or yuzo koshiro making the genesis game music, sure.. sounded awesome. but otherwise? most genesis games were terrible sounding. snes games in comparison were quite a bit ahead. go listen to super gradius 3, adventure island, contra 3, zelda 3, castlevania 4, super metroid, DK country, prince of persia and more on the snes. they all sound fantastic. for a hidden gem with some surprisingly good sound thats kinda like a cross between zelda and shadowgate, go listen to music from Equinox on the snes.
Makes it hard to believe that the original didn't even have any music for the stages, the SNES killed it with these tracks, just so good.
Beautiful music, so mysterious
You right. Is freakin pretty cool mysterious Is sooooo perfect for a reading book section because Is a relaxing music.

The bass line, fantastic
I know your comment is 9 months old but have you listened to the bass lines of Mystical Ninja?

and they put it right in the first stage. it sets the mood completely
Musical director, Genius!!
Thank Goodness.
Its like crisp, cool clean water for a thirsty & tired soul.
For such a basic game, this music really drew you into the game and captured the dungeon, Arabic theme.
Arabic theme, yet the composers are Japanese.
Maybe Japan truly has geniuses in music production.
@@eddyalvaross2195 Iranians aren't Arabs
@@TankMarko XD
I think they meant to say it captured the arid, middle-east theming well.
Maybe basic now, but this game was groundbreaking when it came out.
Dungeon theme
Never played the game but this theme is very catchy.
VERY ADDICTIVE MUSIC 🎧🎵
