Question for you! I’m using a RotoFlow tank (24 ounce) with my TF P47 with Saito fg60 and the stock fuel tank mounts are to small. Should I make new ones or use the electric battery tray ( modified) to hold the tank? I’m not sure if the height would be wrong if I mount the factory battery tray for the fuel tank. I believe you used the battery tray to mount your roto flow tank in the p47. Is the height okay?
I want that airplane stand. Please talk that guy that builds them to get back into business, he's missing out. I emailed them, but they are not even taking back-orders. I guess they don't do it for a living. 😜
Lots of RC companies have gone away because the pressure for lower price makes it impossible to keep producing products at a quality they want. So many just give up and go make real money someplace else.
@@flyingrcdotnet At $200 a piece I thought that would be good money. It's a nice stand, I would probably go $250 but I'll just have to wait and see if they decide to build them again. Thanks for responding.
Yes, shims all over the place there. I actually put the cowl mounts in upside down, then wanted to get the cowl as far back as I could to minimize extra ballast weight so all that added up to some shims. Not tough to make though and they work fine.
Love those sequential retracts
What is the biplane in the opening?
That's a giant scale Pitts Python from Aeroworks, but they are now gone, a big blow to the RC flying community.
are those Sims on the cowling mounting brackets I see?
Sims?

I did use the battery tray to mount the tank and fuel flow was never an issue. Worked fine.
