Who does her husband know in the police force? Either he did something and someone is helping him cover it up or a police officer did it, or both. A toddler could manage to get SOMETHING right so I can't make myself believe that it's just incompetence. Nooo, it's more than that. That detective said she wasn't coming back because he KNOWS she isn't. I'll believe that until she is found and something different comes to light.

This is pure insanity. It will forever amaze me on how the police is allowed to not do their jobs and it's no repercussions for it. The evidence from the car is gone. They have no idea where the phone was actually found. I wonder if the family could just call the NAACP for advice and some type of media coverage. Where is the ex-husband? It seems to me the marriage was to secure his immigration status. Did they even question him?? Track his phone?? This is so sad. My heart goes out to the family. Not knowing where your loved one is and having the police show that they don't care is just too much to bare.

I was SA back in 2007 and nothing was done. And as an older woman, the same thing happened in 2021. No one cares about us. And after the second one he kicked me in my head. That's when I realized the hatred behind it.

There needs to be a petition made to have the police and leech ex husband looked at and this beautiful woman family sue all involved with failing her I am a white woman and never understand why black and native american queens don't get the exposure needed to bring awareness for the missing unalived and abuse I tried bringing awareness but was told I needed to stop because I am white 2 of my friends I known since kindergarten are black and have been unalived by the hands of their ex's and nothing was being done and I wrote every office and position until they got tired of me and did something hate the justice system should be called unjustice system and I pray the family gets the justice and answers they deserve and need please have the family start a petition to get the FBI and detectives involved that is going to do their job and help them with answers lets be real if this was a white woman they would have been all over it

I’ve never in my life been so frustrated by watching an unsolved mystery case. The police department is at the main source of this crime. Lack of urgency from not only the police department, but a major lack of urgency from the family by not driving to her location/town and checking on her well-being the very first moment they found out that she could possibly even be in the hospital. My frustration is at a level 10 just listening to this. Why didn’t someone grab family members and immediately go to her town upon hearing the lie from her ex-husband. This is literally all I can type right now because I’m upset just trying to comprehend why no one immediately rushed to find out what was really going on!!!!
Thank goodness someone said it Everyone blaming the police when her family let 12 days pass still having not heard from her Long distance or not if you can't reach her by phone SOMETHING IS WRONG I'm frustrated at everyone claiming to be her family where was all this energy when she was radio silent for 12 days "in the hospital" and no one cared to get proof of life even after her son said he hadn't seen her... I am livid at the thought no one spoke to her, couldn't confirm what hospital she was at and still went to bed and slept peacefully every night they did not hear her voice

Cynthia's family should sue that police service and personally the detectives in charge of the investigation. It's a huge lack of professionalism and empathy for the kids and her family. It's not fair at all.

All of these deaths have a similar story. A BW meets an unsavory BM and ignores ALL of his red flags and still moves forward with him. Why? That’s the million dollar question.

We all can see the husband did it. There was a lack of urgency on behalf of law enforcement and the family. The husband told them she was in the hospital but didn’t tell them why? They didn’t talk to her children? They could’ve easily told them they hadn’t been to the hospital to see their mother. She still wasn’t answering the phone, so nobody traveled there to see about what was going on? Law enforcement in that department aren’t worth a damn…they should’ve done interviews and posted on social media putting them on blast. How terrible!

My question would be this: How big of a part did the police play in this missing woman's case? Why did they drop the ball as much as they did? Something doesn't sound right about the police. The police are up to no good and a possible cover up! If the husband didn't do it, the police sure knows what happened to Cynthia. I would file a lawsuit against the Police department for negligence.

Sounds like you need a private investigator and a new detective that husband needs to be questioned and her phone records need to be investigated to see if it’s any information there and what she did that day
This is where you need to establish a GO FUND to raise money for a private investigator. I'm not for Go funds for people who use it on the regular. But I would contribute in this particular case because Law Enforcement is egregious..
DIVORCE becoming final. Cynthia had a community church. School community. Covering up her husband's mis-deeds. Always tell others of your locations. What did she know about her husbands crime?
This story really pissed me off. Whenever it comes to us, law enforcement almost always thinks that our life is so bad that we just up and leave all we love. She has children, a mother and father, as well as friends who love her. For the police to just throw her story in the trash as if she doesn't matter is just a crying shame. All the time that past, they could have been looking for her and gathering evidence. But no! I believe her husband had everything to do with her disappearance because the divorce was just about final, and he couldn't get anymore money from her, and he probably just married her to getv in this country all the while having another family on the side.
