This really hits home for me. Retired African American female officer from Chicago. And the reason, I worked in a very high crime area on the Southside of Chicago. I saw the violence and cruelty firsthand. I went home many times feeling I didn't make a difference. I remember going home exhausted because I got call after call, really had no time to be proactive, had to be reactive. Worked in a predominantly black community. I saw countless young black men shot and killed because of gangs. Young women being abused and caught in the crossfire. Trying to get information but no one wanted to talk to the police. I worked hard because these people looked like me. I appreciate your stories because every once in a while, the bad guy gets caught. Thank you for bringing these stories to light. If not for you, many of us would not know about these crimes.

My kids’ old babysitter had a nephew that she raised because both parents were not able. When he turned 15, he was able to move back to his dad’s home in Camden. Accelerant was used in the house fire he died in as well. This is such a tragedy. She lost all four babies. I hope that she is ok.

I was thinking the same. Each of these precious girls were blessings and now angels resting above. Their lives had purpose and to be brutally taken in this tragic way breaks my heart. They deserve as much justice as any victims. This is ridiculous. Someone knows what happened. Why do this to a beautiful and innocent family. A mother lost 4 pieces of her heart which can never be replaced. No amount of money will bring justice. I'm side eyeing those who resigned and the owner of the house. I will definitely share this story. Each day I will say a prayer for justice. May Keyana, Keyara, Kerrielle and Keionne rest in paradise. The truth will eventually come out and those who took your precious lives will be punished.

Thank you for covering this story! I hate how little attention this story has gotten. They deserve AT LEAST as much focus as the girls who were murdered in Delpi but sadly, there has been a huge disparity in the amount of attention and resources the cases have gotten. The fact that they initially ruled it accidental has been a huge barrier as well. A lot if people here in Indiana don't know this was arson. RIH sweet baby girls.

I noticed that all the girls have different last names! I wonder if all of their fathers have been investigated! I know the mother moved to FL, so maybe they were ruled out if they didn’t live there but just a thought. I also cannot believe the Delphi murders were so close in proximity & received so much more news coverage than this case!

The landlord killed these babies and the fire chief knew about it. These people were allowed to resign and continue their lives instead of being charged as the criminals they are. Truly sad and no amount of money can replace their lives. The mother has done all she can, the settlement speaks volumes to the truth that will never be spoken. Forever praying for this family.

The landlord would have torched the whole place, not specific areas. You need to look into previous tenants and their long, dark history and issues people had with them.
See that’s what I remembered about this case …. the property needed maintenance if I remember, he didn’t want to fix the place .., trying to remember if the landlord had relatives in the police department…
This broke my heart!!! A deacon at my church lost his 5 children and wife in a house fire years ago and that hurts me till this day so I could never imagine this mother’s pain my God!

I feel like this story did not get the news it needed, because also at the time, not too long after this fire, there were the slayings of two girls in Delphi and that seemed to get waaaaaaaaay more attention than these precious baby girls.

I was thinking the same thing! My mom had 4 girls and it took TLC and patience to keep our hair done and to always look presentable. She definitely loved and cared for her girls , it showed!❤

People love saying what they would have done in a situation they have never faced. How can a mother run out of the house without the kids? Well because the human and natural instinct for self preservation will make you do things like that. In fight or flight situations most people will try to escape before they die. Not run towards it. Do y'all have any idea how hard it would be to intentionally stay in a fire and allow yourself to be burned alive??? Pretty sure you don't. Hell women now days can't even handle the pain of natural childbirth without medication so don't say you would have stayed with the kids. I call bs.

My heart goes out to Gaylin. I'm white, but my 5 year old grandchild is my everything. I see Her when I look at her children. We aren't so different. Please don't compare the investigation to the Delphi Murders. They had a witness. It happened in 2017 and the suspect still hasn't been convicted and may get off on a technicality. Their families and Gaylin will never be the same. Arson deaths are different than other crimes unless there is a witness. Evidence is destroyed by fire and water used to extinguish it. In December 1999 another Arson happened in Oklahoma. Two teenaged girls, Laurie Bible and Ashley Freeman were abducted, raped, and tortured for weeks, possibly months. Ashley Freemans mom and dad were killed and left in the ashes. Three suspects killed them. Noone was convicted until 2020. 19 years later. The bodies of the girls were never found. Two suspects have died and were never charged. Ronnie Busick got 10 years as an accomplice in Four murders. He only served three years. No DNA or witness. He confessed. In the Flora Four case the firemen were burned like their mom. They wouldn't testify, but they had to remove the bodies of 4 young children. Their scars would go deeper than flesh. They may have seen their loved ones in the faces of those precious children. They need compassion too. I want justice for all of them. Anyone reading this story, please pray that someone will confess. It can still happen. It won't heal Gaylin completely, but we can do that for her. Thank you, and Bless them all.
It's so heartbreaking. When I heard she had severe burns from trying to save her girls that sealed it for me. People who want to be rid of their children wouldn't bother to that extent. Such a horrible crime.

Throughout this video I didn't hear anything about the girls father or fathers. Were they on good terms? Those two people didn't quit for no reason. The landlord needs to be investigated more. I sincerely hope that LE is looking into previous tenants of both sides of the duplex to see if any of them had people that were out to hurt them because the perpetrators could have thought a previous tenant still lived there. My heart breaks for mom and the family of these beautiful girls.
Whenever you feel a nagative shift in a big energy like where you live.... (whether its a new place or where you live currently) and its heavy negative and oppressing energy - u will eventually combust - plan to move or move back ASAP dont stay too long.
Arson investigations like this one usually require outside experts. Now that the house has been demolished, it will be very difficult to figure things out. Whoever did it knew that neighbors didnt have cameras.

I wholeheartedly believe because of the Abby and Libby murder case, which happened around the same time, and received and still receiving Word wide coverage. There was even a 500k reward for Abby and Libby’s case. We all know why, yes I believe color plays a role. Please google and everything will come up. No one should be murder, but let’s give each case the same attention, including reward money.

Maybe the owner was a slum lord and the residence was not fire proof or safe to live in. Did they have smoke/fire detectors? I didn't hear mentioned of any.

I remember when this happened in my state it was right after the Delphi murders had happened. It always hurt my heart how the only told these girls story for about 2 days && even then they still would bring up the Delphi girls. Then when they said they was gone honor these beautiful black girls they also included the Delphi girls. They YT girls had all the media , even on that day😔
