- Edelrid's tree and pole climbing spikes are the most advanced spurs available. Made to be incredibly comfortable and adjustable, these steel shank spikes are just as light as many aluminum options on the market.
Edelrid Talon Climbers are available now at TreeStuff.com:

Tried the Edelrid Talon 2 times this past week. The pads are the most comfortable part of the spur.
Órale. Hay que probarlas 😁
Man I want a pair of these, but that price!!!! WOW
I would love to try them, but dang it man....i can right now.
Customized my 30 yr old steel climbers, and velcro encased steel leg wraps, w/ steel foot plates. I can stay up for 8 hrs, no problem, even at 62 yrs old. Weight is no problem. Got the heaviest climbing belt around. Full of steel biners, never a problem there either.

More info on that here: www.treestuff.com/news.asp?news_id=2245
The cost is absolutely ridiculous.
How much
Just looked them up and it’s says product recall, which is a shame as I’ve always suffered with my spikes shifting. My funny flat feet and long legs I blame
The Talons are now available as a reworked and improved version to address the concerns associated with the original version. They're great spurs!
TreeStuffdotcom thanks for that

Hey @treestuffdotcom - Our friend @human had a bad accident last tuesday. Id like to ask you to reach out and offer some assistance if he is in need. Just a simple request from a customer and fellow tree person. Thank you.
I'll second that
We have been in touch with Corey
Apparently you have to be a little guy to buy gear...nothing I saw in Pro Wrestler size. I'm 6 foot 300+ with 22 inch calves that can swell to 23-24 inches after a long day.
Velcro has no long lasting abilities in tree work I've been through the gecko tree spikes and the straps have completely worn out and I'm only on my 5th tree the velcro is clogged up and doesn't hook up correctly cuz it has all kinds of debris in it even if you try to clean it up it still doesn't latch well so velcro is not a good option for tree work especially when you're 60 ft in the air
Buddy's had them for 3 years..not a single problem but cutting velcro straps so they don't get caught by tips of limbs being roped. The casing cracked on another co workers who has them as well...but they replaced them with a simple picture of the broken ones and no receipt or anything just a picture by email.
metal, plastic and velcro......$600? for that price they better not have a "made in China" sticker anywhere on them🤣🤣🤣
For the price... no thanks
What I don't want is a big bulky affair like those ...
Price is ridicules.
don't want nothin from tree stuff
why.
Don't buy them they really do hurt your caffs
All spurs are painful, but these are some of the best for sure.
