Thanks Lea that was great. Very relaxing and great to see more people using a rigid heddle creatively. I’m amazed that you can sit down to weave on a 48” loom! I have to stand at my 36”! Take care x
Thank you so much! That's lovely, I'm really glad you like the video. I can only sit to work on it with a yoga pouffe on top of my chair to boost the height, sometimes I stand at the loom in between too. Love from Lea 🌿🌸🌼🌾🍃💗💗💗
Thank you so much for sharing your process. The piece turned out beautifully! I am going to try your hemstitching with a thicker yarn than I normally use for my next project. It made a decorative edge to your piece. I just swooned when I saw all your gorgeous handspun art yarn, so very inspiring 🤗.
Hi, admiring your craft. What size of heddle did you use here? I'm a heddle weaver as well. I find it difficult to make the warp in wool because it can tear easily while weaving. Any tips?
Hi, thank you. It's a 7.5, I only use yarns that don't break easily, they are usually pure wool yarns but with a high twist that are strong. I also use a bit of recycled yarns sometimes, but also only if they don't break easily, I hope that helps.
The quiet of your voice and your weaving are in harmony. Just wonderful.
Thank you so much Jennifer! 🌿🌼🌸🌾🍃💗💗💗

Have you watched Bright Moon Weaving Studio? She also uses a 48” and creates the most amazing pieces and her blog talks about her various exhibitions.
