thank you! I spent a day and a half trying to figure out why my printer which had been printing just fine suddenly stayed on "sleep"; you have saved my day!
These tips were absolutely a life saver and something I never thought would be the source of all my connectivity issues! My brother printer was just working perfectly fine and out of nowhere it wouldn't sync to my phone or computers. It showed as idle and last used but would not print wirelessly, via bluetooth nor direct wireless connection. I tried everything from reconnecting to wifi all the way to hard resetting my printer and rerunning the startup software to no avail. Who would have known this simple and easy solution would have saved me hours of troubleshooting. Thank you so much as the other troubleshooting videos did not take this possibility into consideration !
Thanks!!!! It was the router. So it worked briefly. I found a webpage that said make sure the printer was at least 5 ft from the router. Moved my printer and there it was. Seemed to be the problem.
Spent two hours unsuccessfully trying to connect and was about to take this "piece of crap" back to Office Depot. Watched this video on a new day and in less than a minute my "wonderful" printer was connected.
I spent 2 hours this weekend trying to fix my printer adjusting settings etc, then i came across this video and it fixed it all
