It’s so beautiful. Looking back at the footage makes me feel so privileged to have been able to do this ride. In other news, I’ve just signed up for Ragbrai 2024 as part of team Duzer!
I was definitely out of practice when it came to packing stuff away. I ended up loosing one glove, one arm sleeve and breaking my GoPro right at the end of the trip 😫
@@AdamHugill done quite a lot of bike packing trips (videos on my channel in case you are interested...) - but never done anything so far away. Recently took my bike to spain on a flight for some mountain biking - so maybe a fly/bike pack is in my future some time.
Hi Adam. Of course, I had to check out this video since I was with you when you had your last lost-drone adventure. Now you have the controls from your lost drone on our Canada ferry ride and your current drone. Maybe when you get back home you'll find that they are compatible. I sure wish I was out there with you. Keep making those memories!!!!
I believe that was Oriflame Canyon you rode down before realizing you hadn't secured your drone remote. I have both rode down it and rode/hike a biked it up and I can attest to how steep and rocky it is and I think I would have left the remote behind as well. It's been a while since I rode in that area, thanks for sharing your'e adventure.
Ha, I should've watched 10 seconds more and I would have seen the Oriflame Canyon sign! Was there water flowing in the creek when you were there? Maybe I have been lucky but was always able to fill up at the creek on Oriflame. Cheers
Good to see you back making the most of life on the bike again Adam. Great trip and brilliantly put together, as with all of your videos. What bike are you riding for this? Are you still in Bournemouth? I moved from Ferndown back home to Notts this year.
I loved the cycling and scenery, but felt a long way from home. I’m more mountains than sea, so the Peaks makes up a lot of what I miss. You must really miss Yorkshire.
@@AdamHugill i loved my dji spark great drone .. but i left mine in Australia and cant ship it back so it just stays there , the dji mini 3 is really good but the 4 is even better for one reason you can adjust the follow me so it like 10 feet behind you while riding .. ps I guess from growing the hair your not working in Africa again
Hi Mike. Great to hear from you. Katie and I broke up a couple of years ago now. I’ve been in a relationship with a wonderful woman called Alice who I met when I moved to the south coast. She’s quite a private person. I too would like to keep my relationship private so there’s no plans to put any videos of us on a bike trip on UA-cam.
Love watching you romp through this area!

Nice one mate
Longways from Yorkshire moors there.
Looking forward to the next one
What a trip Adam, looks stunning. Am well jealous!
wow very nice experience friend
It's almost like you're becoming desensitized to drone disasters at this point! 😅
What an amazing route. The "Sand Canyon" is a definite highlight!

@@AdamHugill- Bloody hell nate! What a nightmare! 🤦♂️
What a great trip - really enjoying these videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching 🚲😁

Spain is so good for biking! I’ve been wanting to go back there for a while now.

What great memories 🤣 eventually I’ll be able to piece together a shop with all the drone parts I have spare. I hope you are doing great Jim.

It sure is steep! No water flowing when I was there. Just a sandy bottom. Such a beautiful place to ride bikes.
Day 3 is always a great day to wake up on a tour
Fully agree. Day three is when you start to feel normal again.

Thanks Mark. I’m riding in a Surly Bridge Club for this ride. I’m still in Bournemouth. Very much loving life on the coast.

Cool what camera did you use
Mixture of GoPro, iPhone and now redundant drone for this one.
@@AdamHugill man you go through more drones than i had English fry ups lol what drone did you lose or destroy this time
@@Bikepacking it was just the remote fortunately. It was a DJI spark remote that I got second hand in 2019.

So beautiful! Are you meeting other cyclists along the trail?
Unfortunately I didn’t meet many. It’s pretty remote so it’s just luck if I happen to bump into someone.
@@AdamHugill I see. Definitely has its own advantages ;) Looking forward to the next episodes. Cheers from Berlin
Just out of curiosity, what happened to the girl you were seeing. Hope your fitness comes back soon, nice to see your travels.
