Why the immediate response of treating someone having a serious, life-threatening medical incident like they are a criminal?
It's disgusting.
Police must stop acting like gang members towards people and actually go for people committing crimes.
This is beyond hard to watch. As a diabetic, driving with your blood sugar under 100 is like driving drunk. If he was reacting so strongly (having to sit in his car for so long, blacking out, etc) his blood sugar was at last in the 40s. At sound 14 you have seizures and death is closely follows.
He is not going to state that IT IS excessive force because most likely he receives funding through some of these LOE agencies and works directly with them!
I cannot watch this video, but I'm here to boost it. As a #Type1diabetic of 32 years, I had a low blood sugar IN THE ER. 6-7 police officers attacked both myself and my child (my childs palm was ripped open) they wrapped my hoodie around my neck, they choked me, while i had viral bronchitis. There's video of it, but I refuse to look for it. Apparently cops won't be happy until the murder all of us. We're disabled and this is america, we're viewed and treated as if we're nothing.

My husband is also a type 1 diabetic. If some silly and cruel LEO did that to him, I can guarantee you that it would not go unnoticed. I would not rest until they all pay for their bad actions.
You can contact complain to the PD, NGOs, pro bono lawyers etc, but please do not let it slide.
Imagine tasing someone who's life is in danger the police in mitchell county is a joke
I am Diabetic and I wear a Medical alert diabetic bracelet and I have a sticker on my car driver door and bumper saying " Driver is diabetic".
So Walmart will call police when a car is randomly parked in the wrong spot (with many other spots for the online customers) and ofc cops make the situation so much worse for the diabetic....it's amazing how NO ONE thinks it could be a medical issue and must just be some drunk guy
The fact that they didn’t call an ambulance means they’re wrong. But I guess no one can know for sure until body cam is released.

This is my local Walmart. What a shame that the "Coach" didn't call for paramedics instead of police. Those ODP times are really bad during the current remodel and that parking spot was full. Their numbers are not good. Or the dispatcher failed to make the right decision.
