Hi Kevin, Randy with Seasoned shredders a group of snowboarder in our 50s and above, I’m 59. I’ve been follow your channel and have learned a lot of skills from your videos. Just wanted to say love your videos keep it up. Even the old guys are shredding out there’s lol. Later.
My first snowboard was a Burton Backhill. My wife gave it to me for Christmas 1988..... Jake started something that has affected and influenced literally millions of people including me. Ride on Jake. 😎👍❤️🏂
Great memories of John growing up. My father ran the Lawrence Beach Club in Atlantic Beach NY and John and his family were members. We lived on the property year-round and John knew where the window to my bedroom was. I can remember him climbing in that window before dawn (and scaring the ... out of me) to drag me out surfing. He loved knee boarding and made several great designs. I can remember one particular session we caught a hurricane swell and shared a wave, I was doing a top turn while he was on the bottom, turning and we just looked at each other with the biggest grins. He came to visit me in Oneonta NY one winter and I go to ride the prototype of the BB1 on Hartwick mountain and give some input. Great guy, great memories!!!
Still riding my Burton Bullet 2010 to this day. Absolutely love it and I often hear compliments on the quality of the board from people from service centers
You have to be kidding me...who could give this content a thumbs down? Must have been riding switch all day and got confused or perhaps selected via the reflection of a mirror? That's the only conclusion I can come up with... Awesome cut and what a great bluebird day you guys had, so jealous!
From the UK, and I've not been able to get anywhere this season to get any turns in. Thanks for the videos Kevin! Good to see everyone throwing down for Jake, to next season and beyond!
0 dislikes, just as it should be.. great video Kevin! Really liked the riding, music and the way it was cut. Really wanna come ride in Whistler some day, looks fantastic! R.I.P. Jake
There's a lot of science behind the concept of open jacket riding, but here's my understanding. When riding at high speeds in open terrain, the jacket acts like a cape that dampens wind which allows for more stability and better float. In the glades, the unzipped jacket works like a parachute which allows for more nimble and precise turns. Simply put, he's your Friendly Neighbourhood Orca hanging out with his Super Friends in Whistler!
But snowboarders are dangerous to people trying to ski and have a great time. Haven’t you saw videos from the era were they were talking about how dangerous snowboarders were to skiers? Ridiculous. Thank you Jake for correcting that ideology and everything else you did. RIP.
But One thing ; yo ANAON goggles are THE tunnel vision ! That is compared to OAKLEY very annoying . I would love ANON goggles ,but they just not smart engineered .The magnetic Lenses do not help a lot to get rid of the HuuUUUUge tunnel vision ANONS give you ; ) Wayyyyy to much space between the Face and the Lenses
@@SnowboardProCamp in the shop I tried them on , maybe they were M3 S? But I am pretty sure I also tried the M4s on . As soon as I put on the flight deck , I was shocked about how the others I tried on, had that tunnel vision ! No joke . Made me mad cause I liked those dragon ones from the outside and initially wanted to get Anons cause of the 2 Lenses

Do you know any carving snowboards but one that also still has a good amount of flex
Awesome video, epic day! What's the name of the first background music track?

Testicular cancer

Why do you guys always use those goggles? I only use them when it’s snowing.
Jake burton died in 2019 right? Why is everyone remembering him barely
3:24 almost a avalanche
Why is everyone celebrating Jake Burton right now, is it some special date? His birthday and such arent near this time
March 13th is the Day Burton chose to remember Jake on and also to get the entire snowboard community riding together.
