Thanks, CP. It was our first experience using a 360 degree camera and we liked it. Nigel brought it, but we're looking at adding one to our camera kit.
I bought a very nice Cessna 180 from Mark. Flew it for 20 years and had Mark sell it for me. Both transactions were really good. Nigel is a close friend. When I lived in California Nigel and I spend many many hours together flying planes Nigel is a really good pilot with good IFR skills. I really miss flying with him. That Zlin is very cool. Thanks Mark, Thanks Nigel.
I recently purchased a 2010 Savage Cub and I LOVE IT ! I've been flying since 1973 and have flown many of the Cessna models, Bellanca Vikings, Pitts, Scout, Super Cubs, Chipmunk and Maules but this little airplane has won my heart. It's agile on the controls, responsive and just a joy to fly. Only issue I have is getting full flaps in... just don't have the leverage against the bungee system. Would love to upgrade it to a Turbo or Edge for more HP since I fly in high DA areas: 6000 to 11,000, but for what it has, it does great.
@@skywagonuniversity5023 you do a darn good job with the tools you have now. (The video on Paperwork was exceptional!!) I'm happy the sound quality has improved over the earlier videos......
If the phone didn't ring, you'd think an imposter was standing in for me. Then, all the conspiracy theories would explode on the internet. The FBI would be called in to investigate, Rachael Madow would use the story to boost her ratings ... it would be a horrible mess. We just don't want that kind of responsibility.
Hello the manufacturer is not the same that built the aerobatic zlin. This is a microlight/lsa manufacturer started in Italy than the owner moved to Czech Republic and than called the company Zlin.
yes they still are going to make them but right now you cannot order one because they are putting everything into the Norden line and i guess they have had several covid setbacks i been shopping for a savage cub but no luck so far.
@@skywagonuniversity5023 Thanks. This is a great airport to start north cal excursions from. Awesome view on the departure from R23. Currently flying the Husky A-1C in MSFS Virtual Reality. You wouldn't believe how much it resembles your videos.
Started flying this model in the sim, strictly by looking out the window. I have enough feedback with VR, motion and vibration haptics, to feel what the plane is doing. Landing around 26 knots. One of the nicest planes in the sim.
Thank you for the tip, however, The owner of that plane is a buddy of mine and I told him at the start that I'd be cutting him off at various points for editing and information exchange. He said "yes, do it" So based on this, I am not actually rude. You should start a Channel where you are not rude to show everyone how it is done.
If Nigel was not offended, and he wasn't, why do you think it is your place to be offended for him? And, of all the aspects of this video, that's your takeaway? It sounds like you need to be right about something and this was the one thing you could find. Great. You get to be right. I'm rude. Your opinion has been noted and discarded.
So glad to have the fanfare opening back.
I had a 1hour flight in one of these a few years back...most fun I've ever had in an airplane and I've been flying since 1977.
All airplanes fly, but some are certainly more fun to fly than others. This falls into that category.
Great video, Nigel...Made me miss mine!
Nicely done.. and a very nice aircraft. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome, Earl!
Awesome Rig. Love the video, especially the flying footage.

We took a look at their website, and it looks like they are still making the Savage Cub. Can you fill us in?
@@skywagonuniversity5023 I think they are concentrating on the new Norden at least for a while. The Norden is going to be awesome
I hope your throat gets better Nigel.
Thx Mark! And yea, fanfare is back. Very cool.
You are welcome, and we like the fanfare too, David!
Love that in flight photo angle !
We liked it too, and are looking at adding a 360 camera to our kit. If only money were no object.

We went through a lot of very bad microphones to get here.
Ha ha! Well, I appreciate it........hopefully others do too!!
The savage cub is an awesome plane. What a freedom
Really pleasant video!
Thank you for the compliment, Joe!
Oh man, new video and new plane too!!!
Mark ive never seen one until now
Yes, The Savage Cub has been around a quite long time now.
Every interview the phone rings, you should change it to a rotary engine call

Nice plane! What airport is this?
It is Placerville in Northern California KPVF.

It is a keeper… for now 😃
