Yup. It definitely could've been better set up than an out of focus background poster joke but it is a very funny setup and payoff.

I love how this show manages to juggle action, comedy, and genuine emotional moments and still make it all work
Loona may not be good daughter, but she's a pretty good big sister.
They did look good together as a family of sorts.
I suspect that she'll get better, it'll just be a slow progress for her character to slowly open up to Blitzø more and heal from her past - it takes a long time for people to reprogram their mindset and personality after going through the traumas that most childcare systems instill (not to mention that hellhounds being treated as the lowest of the low in hell's hierarchy can explain Loona's aggressiveness as well) so it'll probably be way later in future seasons before Loona's character progression continues a bit more.

Love how, after pulling Octavia through the portal and seeing blitz being blitz, Loona’s basically like “nah, I’ve used my daily dose of chill” and hoofs him straight in the nuts.
"Look, the point is Loona is a valued member of our family and we don't get rid of family," were Blitz's exact words in the pilot.
Not only is Loona his daughter but after threatening to replace her, Blitz DESERVED a good, sturdy kick to the balls. Especially from her.

What I think so far after watching this series so many times: Stolas owns his palace. Stella and him are definitely divorced. Stola's daughter wanted to at least feel that moment again where he dad gave her some real attention even though he has tried. She was already 17 and might be reaching 18 soon. Blitzo however has severe abandonment issues which is why he third wheels with Millie and Moxxie. Luna however has from just this scene alone, been through abandonment as well, having to resort to being violent especially as a hellhound which are used for certain labor and security guards. Blitzo has been used by his father and his mother has either died or something else happened. Sister in rehab, problems in relationships and attacks anything whenever being lewd. His friend hates him (fizzeralli) and he feels chained or enslaved to someone he might actually feel for but is having a hard time letting love in. Stola's doing that thing where Blitzo is about to go on stage, mans is red and sweatin'. Not only due to his problems on stage at the circus and soon became a background clown. Drops the "O" in Blitzo becoming Blitz and is having PTSD flashbacks of his experiences and Luna. Luna is having s hard time letting Blitz in. So when he ran to her, it gave the vibe of like "I love you" as I will hit you in the chest vibe. So Luna responded even though she just talked to V just to say at least Blitz is trying. I love the fact that all of them came together. We do need more background on all of them episode wise. I think there is a comic cuz people be talking about plot even I don't know. Millie and Moxxie just being a couple. Millie having to put Moxxie in his place for dumb shit. Typical relationship stuff 😂 Overall, it does feel like filler but it is a great video. The next one about to be crazy as Fuck if they gave us this charming one. Either that or build up to it. Alot is gonna go down in this season. Hopefully not a season dump unless the people making this series have problems. Then dump away
If you haven't seen the news from a recent convention, 4 more episodes have been in production and will release this spring through summer. Previews showed many scenes, including with Moxxie's dad, Blitz's sister Barbie, a fight scene with Striker, Moxxie dressed like a teenage girl, and more of Asmodeus and Fizzarolli. From that and how Vivziepop teased the designs for Stella's brother Andrealphus (sp?) and the king demon Mammon, this season seems like it will get wild in the best ways!

yo if anyone has seen the animated movie Cats Don't Dance (It's old af) I'm 100% sure the girl at 15:03 is a reference to Darla Dimple, the villain, & she most definitely snorts crack cause that little girl was an animal hating psycho demon in the movie lmao love the fact that they randomly put her in this ep. It was very fitting 😂

If you look closely at the dressing room scene, in the background, you can actually see her doing crack.
The whole water melting the guy thing was foreshadowed earlier when blitz was on the dumpster. The sign said that L.A. Water was about 2% sewage runoff and 98% acid

Ughhhh there so much I want to break down about this episode! But I'm glad loona explain perfectly how I felt about the matter. "My dick is good but not that good" made me lose it. And when I say I LOST MY MIND when blitz said "let's go find our daughters" my hands had turned red for how hard I was cheering for him.
