First off, this MV... The whole thing is just so beautifully heartbreaking. I love it ❤
Secondly, what IU was doing vocally is just holding unto the last part of a vocal phrase, and slowly removing the tone and finishing off with just breath. And that is absolutely perfect for this because it connects to the MV so much. They were running almost throughout, and it'd make sense that they'd be out of breath. Hence, the reason why the tone fits so well❤

I knew this mv was going to be excellent, but I didn't expect it to move we all like this. The tenderness (almost innocence?) between them was so disarming. And then the hopelessness of it all... I was so immersed that I could feel their fear and despair.. V and IU's acting and chemistry are so excellent. I loved the fact that Taehyung was not the stereotypical fearless male lead. That man was terrified (he acted it so well!!) and that made everything, including his moment of bravery, feel even more real.😢

the clothes remind me of Spring day... she also sings it and it is one of IU's favorites, as it is a Korean favorite too. So making reference to it makes us think of BTS because V is in the movie too. The cubes/boxes... all boxed in.... not sure what it all means but seems like the end of the world as we know it. V was already in a drama before called Hwarang where he won an award for Best Idol Actor. So he is a legit actor. When he guested in IU’s show he mentioned that he turned down a lot of offers from directors and producers to do films and what not but he said his priority that time was to finish his album because he knows that his fans have been waiting for it. IU was even surprised to hear that he turned all those offers down. Maybe that’s why she asked him to be her leading man in this MV. So glad he agreed! He did phenomenal. IU’s voice sounds so enchanting and sweet. Honestly Never really listened to her songs before and only watched the MV because I know V will be in it. I was really impressed by her voice and acting. She’s so good! I also like the light and kind aura that she exudes . It Matches V ‘s . Hope this wins an award!
