@@LuciaCordaro I love it!! I think it's a good idea to get rid of some things or sell them. Definitely the bar cart and maybe the ottoman have in front of the pink chair. Do you think it would be a good idea to switch the placement of the pink chair? Not sure it would work but maybe put the pink chair on same side the drawers are by the TV and swap them. Having the chair by the TV and the drawers by the bed. Then maybe you could use that as a nightstand and get rid of the one by your bed. Just a suggestion lol.
Love how you are switching things up in your place but I think the chair needs to moved against a wall or placed in corner maybe moving back the desk back to kitchen would help . And you might want to keep the box fan for the winter sometimes the heat can be a lot in nyc apartments in winter
I can't believe people are so critical. 😅 Yeesh. Anyway, I have kids your age and I just know your parents are so proud! ❤ I love those jeans with the bows! Where did you get them?
The new bed placement was a great choice! My suggestion to free up more space would be to sell the bar cart, green ottomans, & the tables next to the big chair. Then the bench could be moved to where you have the ottomans. If you need something to rest your feet, get a small multicolored foot stool that matches the chair color. Just remember, this is your space. Set it up to your comfort level. If you decide to keep everything as you have it, that's okay too.
I'm sooo glad you pivoted the bed!! I just found your channel today and have been binging all the moving videos (I'm unpacking in my new place) and I've been saying "rotate the bed!!!" the whole time 😂😂
Nice layout! 🤩🥳 here are some ideas to ponder over: The TV could be mounted on the wall in front of the bed and the pink chair can then be placed next to the bed with the coffee table in front of it (if you really want to have it). The shelf near the bed can be moved to next to chair. That way, it looks like you're getting more light into the apt (since there's no TV to block the same). The bar cart and the other shelf could probably be sold.

Your make-up/make-up removal routine, your apartment layout, the music you use in the background of your vlogs are your choices and only your choices. Okay here goes. The shelf that you have the Breathe picture on move it to extend your wall, like a room divider. You can access the gray cubbies from both sides, just change them. Now try moving your chair in front of the extended shelf, maybe caddy corner (that could be a southern term) angled towards the tv. If you wish to have something to place your feet up on use one of the little green stools. Cover it with a little something that complements your chair color. I agree with another viewer to use the bench where you have the little green stools. Someone you may wish to follow is Alexandra Gater, she is a genius at styling studio apartments, also The Sorry Girls are great with small spaces, I think they started out styling dorm rooms. You made a great start!
New layout seems way more functional 💗💗 LOVE THAT FOR YOU! Not having to spend your "chill-time" only on your bed for the WIN 🙌 Can't wait to see what comes next!?!?!
Love your vlogs. I would sell the green ottomans, bar cart, bench and coffee tables. Put the shelf by the bed and put the dresser on the wall where you had the ottomans. Put the chair back on the wall by the kitchen. Have you considered turning the shelf horizontal and adding another shelf unit on top? Then you could get rid of the shelf from your brother bc it takes up a lot of room. Or put the chair in the corner by the bed and move shelf to wall by kitchen across from dining table.
I love the new layout. I think the coffee tables are good there, makes it look more living room-ish, which is what you were wanting. For me, the bar cart would have to go. Enjoy your new space! x
I’m absolutely loving this new layout! I agree about the bar cart and coffee table not adding anything to the space, the only other thing I’d say is putting your bench where the green ottomans are to open the space up a little more! Good job girl 🫶🏼
This was such a fun blog, and I love that you have taken your time in figuring out how you want things to go, its always fun to arrange and rearrange until you find what works for you. With that I really loved the white cubed shelf where it was before, I felt like it was like a piece of art. Some thoughts are move the shelf back where it was, and put the dresser where the shelf is now, would it fit on that wall? Then sort of catty corner your chair where it is now but it will be a lil bit in front of the shelf. Leave ur night stand behind the chair so u can still access it from your bed. Get rid of barcart, coffee tables, green ottomans, and get a new poof/ottoman for ur feet u can put in front of ur chair for ur feet. Just ideas from someone who loves to arrange/rearrannge ❤❤❤❤
I’d put the bench where the green ottomans are and get rid of those. The stuff in them can go in your empty dresser. You could also put your extra stock up products in that dresser as well. I’d also get a little toilet paper holder that sits on the floor, the kind that holds like 4 rolls stacked. The little tables next to the chair look a bit cluttery. I’d get something more sleek and small, maybe white or glass. I would also get that tv off the windowsill to let in more light and wall mount the tv on a mount with an arm that lets you move it to different angles. It’s so easy and will be nice for you. That said, needs to be how you love it, not us. Thanks for letting us come along on your journey. 😊💕
I have a feeling you are going to outgrow your space very quickly. I think you have quite a few bulky items like the chair, mirror, and shelves, and a good way to maximize a tiny space (I'm sure others have said this) is to use the height of the apartment. Mount things. Floating shelves, etc. It's also quite a dark space than a typical vlogger usually likes. But in the end, it really comes down to YOUR opinion and how comfortable YOU feel in the space. There is a great UA-camr named @alexandragater who does apartment makeovers and she has great ideas for small spaces. Worth taking a look!
I would try putting the dresser and the shelves back to back if you have space. Then you could put the chair where the dresser is. The TV could be put on top of the dresser.
Please don’t plug an extension cord into another extension cord. That is a huge fire hazard. Use power strips instead at each wall outlet. No plugging in power strips into other power strips. 😊
I love the new table. I agree with you that the triangle tables are too much. Maybe you can use the small table on the other side if you need a spot to set something down. Or a tray on the ottoman. I would also consider just keeping one green ottoma unless you need the storage. Maybe some baskets on the kitchen table to give shelves for more storage. I also think switching the breath picture over the dining table would be more balanced with the dimensions of each piece of furniture. You could hang all your art using peel-and-stick Velcro. As always, just my advice but do what works for you!! What a productive week❤
I used to use micellar water but started breaking out. I switched to the Cerave Hydrating cream to foam cleanser and I’m shocked how much makeup it removes while also not completely stripping my dry skin. Haven’t looked back since. Every time I change up my cleanser, my skin freaks out. It’s my favorite of all time! (Still watching the vlog and v excited to see the reorg!)
Hi Lucia, your apartment is adorable. Have you considered moving the table into the kitchen as sort of an island? Then you could put the shelves where the table is and move the chair caddie corner on that wall between the kitchen and main room. It’s a thought.
Suggestion…putting your eating table in the middle of your kitchen and your dresser in area of closet if it can fit and is it possible to to hang your tv on the wall, to prevent blocking your window. Congratulations on your journey 😊
Or you could flip the eight cube shelf and put it against the table like a room divider and use it for office storage… and then put the pink chair back against the wall between the kitchen and living space
You are so cute!! I love this much better and what counts is having things you love!!! So, since others offered their thoughts, I will too!!! haha. WHAT IF you moved your bed over now to the right, put your cute pink chair to the left of your bed and put your TV on the wall in front of your bed. Your little coffee tables might fit over there too. You might get rid of the white cubby shelf or put it where you have those two little small ottomans. If you did that, you could put cute plants on top drapping down. If I were closer, I'd painting you some paintings as that is what I do!!! as a house warming gift.
The layout definitely looks better than before. 😊 if you are happy and comfortable, then awesome. If there is a part of you that isn’t content, I would highly recommend reaching out to someone that can help you maximize your space. I don’t think you necessarily have too much, but that you aren’t properly maximizing your space.
I think your coffee table set looks amazing. it's definitely convenient, and, really, you have space and time to find out what serves you and what doesn't so give yourself grace, you're doing amazing. The layout looks great, idk if it's just the angle but the only thing I'd work on is your bed frame as it looks a bit like it's not fully in contact with your bed? but regardless, I think the apartment looks amazing. I'm looking forward to the next videos and more organizing :D super excited for you and your journey!
The chair to where the dresser is, the table by the chair becomes, joint table by chair and bedside table, move the dresser so the back in against the dining table and put the tv on top, separates space and means you can watch TV from the bed or the chair
I really love the long vlogs. It's so relaxing. My new fav chanel 😊 what about, if you try the cube shelves to turn around in horizontal & put back where it was, on top the tv. Maybe opposite the armchair. The drawer back where it was & just have a smaller bar table. Off the 2 storage cube & space the bench there. Anyhow its how you like it & feel cozy for you 😊 Can you mount the mirror on the wall there?
I think put the couch/bench where you have the storage cubes to have a place to sit while putting shoes on. I like the idea of using the ikea bookshelf as a space separator. I definitely think the space is coming together though:)
Put the bookshelf in the corner next to your headboard. Put the shelving unit back in the original corner next to the window. Put the dresser where the mirror was and put the footstools or bench at the end of the bed. But one or the other might have to go. Switch the table and pink chair around. Also you can switch the shelf with baskets where the mirrr originally was and put the dresser where the basket shelving originally was. Hope i didnt overwhelm you.
Hi. I found you from your moving series. I was thinking about the bar cart and the desk dining table - you can self adhesive wrap the dark wood in white gloss or white wood grain and then they both would match your black and white kitchen and then put the bar car with your jewellery on at the end of you bed between the two white bookshelf units and then it would all match 👍🏻🙌🏻👍🏻
Really like how you got your bed.Makes the room look bigger. You can put t.v on wall or your dresser to open up your window for more brightens.Just a thought.
I like the small tables where they are and would get yourself a couple of coffee table books to style the bench you have at your feet. I agree with letting the ottomans go and freeing up your walkway.
What if you used the white cubbie bookshelf as also a nightstand on its side/horizontal next to the bed where the dresser is and move the dresser to where the cubbie is. That way you can open the drawers more freely? What are you putting on the two different bookshelves? ❤❤❤
I really like the layout. As far as advice is concerned, maybe only have one of the green ottomans by the front door. Also, can you do without the bar cart and its storage?
Not sure if this was mentioned before, but does your apartment allow anything to be nailed or screwed into the walls? If yes then maybe you can do a wall mount for your TV. Like the adjustable ones with a long arm so you can change the angle/height easily. Unless ofc you prefer it in your window space.
Using small area rugs will help you define the different spaces in your home. I love the way you moved things my only suggestion would be to turn the chair slightly at an angle and not have it flat up against your bed.
i think honestly just having a balanced diet overall and being healthy helps ! ive never had issues growing it. when i go i have just been asking for a trim!
Do you go through a pack of cotton pads a week with that method? Also, I noticed you don’t cleanse your face after makeup removal… I’m acne prone too so I was surprised! I use a makeup wipe to gently remove makeup and then wash my face with la roche posay!
can you push the chair towards the head of your bed in that nook between the dresser and the bed frame? i feel like it would fit better there than being right in front of your bed/in the middle of the floor
I still think you need to put your tv on an adjustable arm. And put your mirror where the bar cart was. Flip your brothers shelf back right side down and put it where the dresser is and put the bench back at the end of the bed.
I did an Executive MBA at Nova University and highly recommend a program like it for people who are employed while going to school. I was able to use my work environment for research and topics for the papers I wrote. I highly recommend the Exec MBA program at UNC in Chapel Hill. It’s virtual with periodic weekends on campus.
You can buy a replacement top for your hydroflask.. but I hated how the straw leaked, so I switched to just the carrying cap and I use it way more now. I thought about buying a different bottle, but then I was like.. that defeats the purpose of reducing my use if I just buy a new product. So I made it work.
i have a whole video about this i made last year about my whole celiac expereince if u look it up!! ua-cam.com/video/XWCR2Str2bo/v-deo.htmlsi=g3HSUl_CecNv8giL
that L shaped bookcase you painted? that might make a really good space divider as well. if you moved against that bump out between the kitchen area and the bedroom area. it’s already there almost in place in the beginning of the video.
@@LuciaCordaro it's always fun to move around furniture so something to look forward to if you do ever feel like it 😊 looks great regardless, glad you are enjoying it
I think the BREATHE sign where it is crowds and overwhelms the space too much. Maybe you can try a smaller print? and move the sign to the bedroom area
I would get rid of the current table and stools and replace them with a small round bistro table and chairs in your kitchen - that would free up a lot of space
You can see at the beginning of the blog that there’s enough space in the kitchen to get round the pink chair which is quite large? Or maybe a small table with a drop leaf for when it needs to be used as a desk?
@@LuciaCordaro i think your table is great too, just that it’s too big & in the wrong place for your space. But the only thing that matters is what YOU want/think, not the rest of us! (I’m right, though 😁😁😁)
Sell the little tables and the bench and use one of your ottomans for your feet. I would get a smaller table maybe one you can fold down. Get rid of the bar cart and get maybe something you can put in your bathroom?
humble opinion… get rid of the ottomans, put the square bookshelf there and put the chair next to your bed instead of where it is! Will open up the space
Your hair looked REALLY good when you were heading out to Coda! The problem with your furniture is that you bought living room furniture for a home that has no living room. Get rid of the nesting tables - you can use the storage ottoman for a little side table. And that pink chair looks awful where it is because nobody has a chair along the side of their bed. Proportionally it just doesn't fit. It belongs in a living room. Your jewelry stand needs to live on the white dresser or bookcase in your bedroom - and not in the kitchen.
Please be careful with the extension cords. I’m not sure I heard correctly but you shouldn’t plug an extension cord into another extension cord. It’s not safe. Otherwise, you’re doing great. ❤
Just one suggestion for your bathroom…please hang your towels evenly…just my OCD kicking in when your in the bathroom getting ready that’s all I see are the towels lol 😂
Good job, but I think your furniture is too bulky for such a small space - imho. Also, I'd get rid of the bench, especially if it isn't a storage bench. I'd keep the coffee table!
Have you thought about painting your desk? In my opinion that coffee table just doesn’t fit in the space and encourages clutter. That picture of you in the yellow is such a cute pop of color!
Yes but some brushed gold hooks and install them. Please don’t use command strips this is your home, you’re not in a college dorm where nails in the wall aren’t allowed. Don’t be afraid to really decorate. It looks awesome so far. Keep up the great job!!!
What do we think of the new layout?

I was thinking about the bar cart and the desk dining table - you can self adhesive wrap the dark wood in white gloss or white wood grain and then they both would match your black and white kitchen and then put the bar car with your jewellery on at the end of you bed between the two white bookshelf units and then it would all match 👍🏻🙌🏻👍🏻
oh thats so cute!!! maybe if i'm feeling it i'll do that as a fun winter project
Really like how you got your bed.Makes the room look bigger. You can put t.v on wall or your dresser to open up your window for more brightens.Just a thought.
thanks!!!
I’ve been in my apartment at the Jersey Shore for 5 years & im still making changes lol I think I’m finally getting it to where I love it!
Hahaha it takes time!
Maybe add a tray on top of your bench so u could put a coffee table book, ur drink etc and get rid of the coffee table?
Smart!!!
I like the small tables where they are and would get yourself a couple of coffee table books to style the bench you have at your feet. I agree with letting the ottomans go and freeing up your walkway.
yes that would be fun!!!
Good morning!! Excited to see another vlog so soon! Lol
@@elizabethwright7979 haha yes!! 🥳🥳
What if you used the white cubbie bookshelf as also a nightstand on its side/horizontal next to the bed where the dresser is and move the dresser to where the cubbie is. That way you can open the drawers more freely?
What are you putting on the two different bookshelves?
❤❤❤
I was thinking the same thing!!!
Oh interesting! I just don’t think the dresser would fit there
I loved this video. What about a video about what you like or don’t like about the New York office compared to the Boston office?
i was in chicago! and i love that idea! im doing a new york vs chicago video
@@LuciaCordaro I forgot Chicago.
So much better. Will the bar cart fit in the bathroom to hold all your products? Keep the coffee table and fan. Please make your bed.
i got rid of the bar cart!
Love it! Looks great 💖
I love the city! On my bucket list is to stay in NYC for a week like I live there 😂
that sounds so fun!
I really like the layout. As far as advice is concerned, maybe only have one of the green ottomans by the front door. Also, can you do without the bar cart and its storage?
yes i got rid of it!
Not sure if this was mentioned before, but does your apartment allow anything to be nailed or screwed into the walls? If yes then maybe you can do a wall mount for your TV. Like the adjustable ones with a long arm so you can change the angle/height easily. Unless ofc you prefer it in your window space.
@@sarahsook it does I just don’t want to deal with that sort of thing hahaha
Using small area rugs will help you define the different spaces in your home. I love the way you moved things my only suggestion would be to turn the chair slightly at an angle and not have it flat up against your bed.
Oh that would be fun! I haven’t thought of that
🎉 🗽
You could put the table between the wall and pink chair that way its kinda tucked away and you can use it as a side table/ nightstand table...
Fair fair point
your hair is getting so long i love it! any hair growth advice?
i think honestly just having a balanced diet overall and being healthy helps ! ive never had issues growing it. when i go i have just been asking for a trim!
Morning from Hawaii this was the best contact on this video
morning!!
Do you go through a pack of cotton pads a week with that method? Also, I noticed you don’t cleanse your face after makeup removal… I’m acne prone too so I was surprised! I use a makeup wipe to gently remove makeup and then wash my face with la roche posay!
@@amy98765 i wash my face!! I just don’t show it on camera
can you push the chair towards the head of your bed in that nook between the dresser and the bed frame? i feel like it would fit better there than being right in front of your bed/in the middle of the floor
like at an angle
Maybe! It would just be harder to watch TV
I still think you need to put your tv on an adjustable arm. And put your mirror where the bar cart was. Flip your brothers shelf back right side down and put it where the dresser is and put the bench back at the end of the bed.
style your apartment the way you want not for social media.
of course i am dont worry :) its just fun to hear what everyone thinks :)
Not bad! Much better use of space it seems
yayyy
girll where is the red lounge set from? I'm obsessed!
@@aria9409 princess Polly!!! It’s my fav haha
@@LuciaCordaro thank youu! It's so cute
Where did you get those jeans with the bows on them that you wore to dinner?! They are SO cute! Love your style 🥰 also great job on the moving vlogs!
@@Ashley23275 awe thank u!! 🥰 they are from cider!
Agree with all you said !
Put the mirror on the inside of the front door. Frees up wall space.
@@lesliedoukmak6129 good idea!
you should put the tv on the wall I like the new layout
Thank you!!
Oh that’s amazing!!!
You can buy a replacement top for your hydroflask.. but I hated how the straw leaked, so I switched to just the carrying cap and I use it way more now. I thought about buying a different bottle, but then I was like.. that defeats the purpose of reducing my use if I just buy a new product. So I made it work.
oh OMG interesting haha yeah fair
Could you make a video talking about your experience with having celiac. We are in the process of getting a diagnosis for my 3 year old ❤
i have a whole video about this i made last year about my whole celiac expereince if u look it up!! ua-cam.com/video/XWCR2Str2bo/v-deo.htmlsi=g3HSUl_CecNv8giL
that L shaped bookcase you painted? that might make a really good space divider as well. if you moved against that bump out between the kitchen area and the bedroom area. it’s already there almost in place in the beginning of the video.
id have to paint the back of it too then lolll
I think the shelf where the desk is and the desk where it was before would still separate the space but make it feel less cluttered
fair point! for now i like how it is but maybe i'll switch it up if i get bored of it lol
@@LuciaCordaro it's always fun to move around furniture so something to look forward to if you do ever feel like it 😊 looks great regardless, glad you are enjoying it
Ok fr at 29:45 the song I hear in all your vlogs. Are the lyrics: “Giggity, giggity (like Quagmire from Family Guy), what happened, what happened”???
lol what??
less is more... you have too much furniture in my opinion!
i agree!!!! less is more. also styling ur place to how you like not how social media likes it
Also less is more when it come to vlog length. Sorry girl, do a script and cut, with this length I am out…
lol fairrr but this is what works for me!
haha i can make them shorter!
@@LuciaCordarodo them however long you want!
Can you put ur cleaning products under the sink and put your cosmeticish products in the cabinet over the toilet?
@@itslauramichelle992 maybe!
I think the BREATHE sign where it is crowds and overwhelms the space too much. Maybe you can try a smaller print? and move the sign to the bedroom area
I don’t really wanna get new artwork! Fair thooo
I would get rid of the current table and stools and replace them with a small round bistro table and chairs in your kitchen - that would free up a lot of space
i do like that idea but she also uses the table to work and the bistro table might be too small.
You can see at the beginning of the blog that there’s enough space in the kitchen to get round the pink chair which is quite large? Or maybe a small table with a drop leaf for when it needs to be used as a desk?
i love my table so def gonna keep it! ty thooo
@@LuciaCordaro i think your table is great too, just that it’s too big & in the wrong place for your space. But the only thing that matters is what YOU want/think, not the rest of us! (I’m right, though 😁😁😁)
@@samanthaosullivan3429 hahaha 🥳🥳🥳
Sell the little tables and the bench and use one of your ottomans for your feet.
I would get a smaller table maybe one you can fold down.
Get rid of the bar cart and get maybe something you can put in your bathroom?
got rid of the bar cart!
humble opinion… get rid of the ottomans, put the square bookshelf there and put the chair next to your bed instead of where it is! Will open up the space
Idk if the bookshelf will fit there it’ll block the hallway too much
Your hair looked REALLY good when you were heading out to Coda! Your jewelry stand needs to live on the white dresser or bookcase in your bedroom - and not in the kitchen.
awe omg thank you!!!!
The place looks terrific! Can’t wait to see your Christmas tree in a couple months🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
omg i need to get one!!!
Hi Lucia, it looks like if you could get rid of one more piece of furniture, it would help without. Definitely get rid of the tables and drink cart.
@@juliemcnair5182 truuu
Maybe a plant in the corner between the two shelves
Be careful with extension cords into other extension cords! Can be a fire hazard!
ahh thanks for letting me know!!
Hey!!!! You got a shade for your window!!!
@@montystepura3689 I’ve had one! It came with the apartment
Please be careful with the extension cords. I’m not sure I heard correctly but you shouldn’t plug an extension cord into another extension cord. It’s not safe. Otherwise, you’re doing great. ❤
thanks for letting me know!!!
Just one suggestion for your bathroom…please hang your towels evenly…just my OCD kicking in when your in the bathroom getting ready that’s all I see are the towels lol 😂
lol i need to be better about that
Where is the pink chair from? I searched but don't see the link anywhere
She brought it from Wayfair
I linked it on my apartment tour video!!!
i like the chair but it looks too bulky for that space..
its perfect for me haha
Good job, but I think your furniture is too bulky for such a small space - imho.
Also, I'd get rid of the bench, especially if it isn't a storage bench. I'd keep the coffee table!
fair opinion! i like it for the vibes lol
Have you thought about painting your desk? In my opinion that coffee table just doesn’t fit in the space and encourages clutter. That picture of you in the yellow is such a cute pop of color!
awe thanks! i have thought about it but i dont think painting it is high priority for me lol
I’d hang the tv in front of your bed on the wall and pink chair by the bed. It’s already dark in your room by blocking the window
im always worried the sun is gonna ruin the tv..
ugh i know i just don't wanna mount anything since i wont be here that long!
@@LuciaCordaro even if it’s only a year, it’s. Year of light in your life♥️
@@warmbreeze43 true!
Hooks for your coats and put the ottoman under them.
i def need some hooks lol
Yes but some brushed gold hooks and install them. Please don’t use command strips this is your home, you’re not in a college dorm where nails in the wall aren’t allowed. Don’t be afraid to really decorate. It looks awesome so far. Keep up the great job!!!
Put tye tv in front of yoir bed. Mobe one shelf to yoir closet room
fair idea
Is there a reason you are not hanging anything on the walls?
I just don’t wanna deal with it hahahah
