13 Pro Max is still excellent, clearly. I would rather have my Android-killing 15 Pro Max any day, but I want to get my Mom to upgrade from her older phone to a refurb 13 Pro. Then she will have a 13 Pro, my Dad will have a 14 Pro, and I will have a 15 Pro. Lol
Man when the 13 Pro Max was released, it forced the phone industry to rethink battery efficiency. Phones were stuck on the 7-8 hour SOT for years then came the 13 PM with like almost 10 hours or something insane.
It still is the best battery phone after 15 plus for apple

Sadly apple got complacent in the efficiency department and havent pushed it further since. Everyone else caught up. If apple wanted to they could have a sizeable lead in both performance and battery instead of just performance.

I have the 13 pro max, looking at the iphone 15 pro max, I don't feel a substantial improvement. I will wait for the iPhone 16. Very happy with my 13 pro max.
Initially the 13 pro max felt normal but looking back, it was so ahead of its time man. One of the best phones ever released by Apple for its time. Can compete against flagships even today.

The 13 Pro Max set the wave of technology for the next 5 years of iPhones after the 15 Pro Max. The A17 isn’t that much better than the A15 in the 13 Pro Max. iPhone 13 Pro Max was also the first iPhone to get 120Hz refresh rate. I have the 13 Pro Max as my backup phone, and I have my 14 Pro Max as my main phone. I won’t be upgrading until the iPhone 16 Pro Max unless it’s almost the same as the 15 Pro Max.

i have the 13 pro and been trying to find someone doing 13 vs 15 pro models and glad i had this come into my feed. it seems like it’s not much different, so i’ll continue to enjoy what i have.
Upgrading? I am actually thinking of buying the 13 pro max. Finally, after all the buzz and hype, its price dropped so much and the only iPhone with 120hz for a reasonable price.

I have the 13 pro and couldn’t be happier with battery performance. I find it hard to justify upgrading to the 15 Pro because every upgrade from this point on seems to be marginal increments. USB type c isnt anything to go crazy over unless they utilized it to make the iphone into a DEX type setup.

I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max since almost 2 years it is a pleasure to have it. Since there are not too much game changing innovations I am considering just changing the battery when it will drop to 85% and wait for a big discount on the 15 pro max (if the heat and battery issues are solved) or wait for the iPhone 16 pro max (or ultra or whatever…)

I still think the iPhone 13 pro max under iOS 15 was really phenomenal than the 15 pro max.
Even with IOS 17 my 13 PM feels like it was released yesterday. Buttery smooth with day and half battery life. I'm using it since release date and my battery health is still 93%.

If you are normal users and have 13 pro max, there is no need to upgrade, really same phone with minor updates, but if you have money, why not, very happy with my 13 pro max.

Have my iPhone 13 Pro Max for 2+ years…gonna keep it for an extra 3+ years. You don’t need to update iPhones yearly anymore. It peaked at iPhone 13.
I’ve got both these phones. If you have a 13 Pro Max and are contemplating upgrading to the 15 Pro Max, it’s really not worth it. The 13 Pro Max will go down as an all timer from Apple, way ahead of its time.

I still have my 13 pro max in alpine green and not planing on upgrading until the iphone really deliveres some great upgrades. For now i dont care about the dynamic island nor about a 5x zoom. The camera of my 13 pm is still a beast and the notch less distracting than the dynamic island.
If you have 13 pro max, you should only upgrade when something like ULTRA comes, buying the same phone every year is not worth unless you have too much money 😉
Or just switching to it which cuts the cost of new iPhones

I have the iPhone 13 Pro since December 2021,there is no point in upgrading as this phone is on 87% battery health,it used to last like a day and a half,now it’ll last me the entire day,so when the battery is noticeably worse I’ll get a new battery,until an iPhone comes out worth spending the money on,yeah I can trade this in and get €540 for it and the 15 Pro/max will cost me like €900 but it’s just not worth it,I think iPhone 13 Pro/Max is peak iPhone for now
I have a 13 pro max and I have been thinking of upgrading to the 15 pro but those phones got too many issues and have been looking at the 15 plus instead but I may not upgrade and will probably wait till next year
Only two issues I have with my 13 pro max is that it’s heavy and I can’t put the widgets where I want them (they always go to the top and to the left). The second one is especially frustrating.
Efficiency is king in battery performance, 13 pm is arguably the most optimized phone amongst the pro max versions!

Finally decided to upgrade to the 15 Pro after riding it out with my 12 Pro for years. I’m an average user & the best part of the new iPhone is the 120hz. It’s so much easier on the eyes!
From a 13 pro perspective, a 15pm is a huge leap considering 100% battery health upgrade, latest chip that will prolong iOS update and also its slim bezel that looks much more slimmer for a huge huge viewing. My 13p now run on 86% bhealth😢

I still use the iPhone 13 Pro and I don’t plan on changing there’s not enough of an upgrade in the 14 or 15 for me to justify spending that kind of money when this phone works just fine and does everything I needed to do. Plus it takes amazing pictures.
I loved my 13pm almost didn’t wanna trade it in for my now 15pm. It definitely changed the game very battery efficient and fast.

13 pro is the phone to stay on until they remove the cutout. That battery life is still undefeated. But natural titanium is one of the best colors ever.

@@Apathy474first of all, glossy black is hideous and ages like milk. Second, yeah its kinda grey. I wish it was warmer, closer to beige. In promo materials and certain lighting it does look like the beige i want. But irl its just grey lol. Sierra Blue is definitely undefeated.
It will be 2 years for my 13 Pro in November and honestly I could use this phone for another 5 years easily. The battery health, even though being at 87% now, is still amazing and gets me by my day just fine. I love everything about this phone. Imo, the best phone that’s been made. No gimmicks, nothing fancy, just a smooth buttery experience with the best battery life in the game!

I returned my 15 Pro Max and ordered a Premium Renewed 13 Pro Max from Amazon because I hated not having a SimCard slot for when I get tired of iPhone and need to quickly swap my sim card to my good old Pixel 5 for a while. Also, The 13 Pro max has the Pro Motion display and macro photography. So I won't be missing much for way less money.
We all know that 0,.. seconds will not affect our experience in daily uses but we always come back to watch the speed test content to make us happy that our phone could fight the newer one or our phone is indeed better from the earlier series..😂😂

My 13 pro max is still a battery tank and quick. I did an antutu benchmark yesterday and I got nearly 1.3 million score so for me it's not wise to spend another thousand dollars for the same phone.

i upgraded from a used 12 pro max, bought for 830, sold it a year later for 630, and bought a new 14 pro max, i love this phone, a big upgrade due to display refresh rate and not heating during charging. 14 pro max will probbaly last me 5 years as it has everything i need, dynamic island is pretty cool and im using it very often.
Have my 13 pro max and love it! Maybe next year.

iPhone 15 Pro Max is my first Pro model. I could’ve easily bought the 13 Pro 2 years ago but for some reason I felt like I just wanted the standard model. The differences are night and day

My 13 Pro Max still feels top end for both performance and cameras. Still on original battery after 2 years, 4 months and battery life is still great. This is the best any iPhone I’ve ever owned has aged at the 2 year mark.
Using my iPhone 13 & doing great. I also think the 13’s had a great year. One complaint the iOS 17.0.2 removed all my custom notifications tones for email accounts & text tone sounds. Only thing there now is the ones came with phone. Custom ringtones are still there but as far as the notification tones I had for years is not in the notification categories for each app.. Must be a bug issue
I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I'm not looking forward to 16 at all. Even if I get a 17, I'll still be wondering whether to switch or not. I think I can use up to 18 if I just replace the battery.

Nonetheless, the 15 pro max I have is a very solid device. My 14 pro max kept dropping on WiFi, the battery was terrible, and it was very heavy. My 15 pro max has not had a single time the WiFi dropped, the battery is around 1-2 hours better easily, and it feels much better. Never had any overheating issues except for the set up. I always slap a case on it anyways

@@angelramos1884 I did everything possible on my 14 pm to fix the wifi dropping, even upgraded my router, but there's nothing I could do about it. My 13 pm and 15 pm have no problem connncting
Had my iPhone 13 pro max for 1 year and 7 months, didn't want to upgrade to the 14 or 15. Decided to give the pixel phones a chance for the first time. It's been 2 months now, and I'm content. This video just confirmed that I'm not missing anything on my iPhone. My 13 pro max has been retired to the drawer of death.
I have the 13 pro. I wanted the larger display so I decided to do the upgrade.
I have both, the 13 pro and the 15 pro max. And the 13 pro isn't slow by any means. But when you swipe and scroll a lot and fast, the 15 pro max definitely feels smoother. It feels like the 15 handles the pro motion display with the adaptive refreshrate better and is able to adapt the refresh rate way faster/smoother. But i have to say, that even on the 15 pro max, i have some hickups here and there. But that is the drawback of not having constant 120hz, which would chew way to much battery.

Great content. Here's a question. Why can't Apple make the face ID where you just look at it, and it opens to the home screen? Why do you have to swipe to open?
There are times, when you look the phone accidently, and it opens. so for avoiding further accidental touch which can open apps, make calls, etc swipe up feature was given to add one more layer to access phone.

It's incredible how well iOS holds up with hardware over the years, it's one of the reasons I switched back to Apple after almost 6 years with a OnePlus 6!
Currently have the 13PM, its great an all still but im considering upgrading possibly. Only reason why I would want to upgrade is because my Ultra Wide camera lens stopped working, flashlight stopped working here recently and I’ve also noticed that whenever I let my phone die all the way down to zero percent and when I put it back on the wireless MagSafe charging stand, it has a tendency to restart a few times on the apple logo whenever its on the home screen just charging from that zero percent to like 5%
Can someone tell me why you want a extreamly big cut out in the display? Is that not anoying when watching movies?

Got the 13pm and I’m on the fence about upgrading to either the 15p or 15pm. Believe me, the 13pm was an awesome upgrade coming from an 8 plus. I’ll probably wait until end of the year to see if there’s more substantial info on battery life with upcoming iOS updates addressing the alleged heating and short battery duration issues.
and the trash durability, only thing i'd upgrade for is the dynamic island and the barely noticeable speed/battery but even then i wouldn't upgrade. the 13 lineup is honestly amazing.@@TechnologyMan9575

I have been debating whether I want to upgrade to a 15 Pro Max. The tech enthusiast in me is really wanting one but I’ve decided to wait for now as my 13 Pro Max has 89% battery health and it’s not worth upgrading in my opinion until I see what the iPhone 16 series has to offer.
Not worth, the only real difference between 13 pro max and 15 pro max is basically just the new camera cutout and slightly better camera

Nick, Apple would be making a huge mistake imo if they went larger than 6.7inch display honestly that's the perfect size they just need to get rid of the Dynamic Island.
I'm an S23 Ultra user and am used of big phones and I honestly think it's a touch too big the tallness of the phone looks silly, I much prefer the 15 Pro Max form factor the only reason I give the edge and prefer the S23u display is it's slightly sharper PPI & it's better for watching content because it doesn't have the DI.
If they get rid of the dynamic island completely I wonder where the front camera will go 🤔
I actually prefer the tallness of the Samsung over iPhones wider design. Harder to hold, especially with those impractical sharp edges. Plus when you slap a case on it, it's even worse.
I love my 13 Pro Max so much. The only reason I am upgrading is bec I need a bigger storage. I blame myself bec I got too excited to upgrade and settled on a 128gb when I bought the 13 PM.
I currently have the 13pm and I love it. If I had to complain I would say the weight can be a bit aggravating but other than that I’m satisfied. I’m at 87% battery life which still gets me through a day and a half. From what I see here there really isn’t a big enough reason upgrade other than maybe the weight loss.
If you complain about the weight of that phone you must quite literally have the muscles of a new born baby .
@@JDM4EVR it's not about the weight on your muscles, it's the way it digs in to your pinky when you hold it and with a heavy and sharp phone like the 13PM it does get pretty uncomfortable

13 Pro is definitely to heavy, I haven’t adjusted to the weight after 1 year of use.

I moved from iPhone 13 Pro to iPhone 15 to iPhone 15 pro max.. all of the changes that I can feel are related to upgrading to max version and nothing else.. if I had a 13 pro max I wouldn’t have upgraded.. the upgrade isn’t worth it unless your iPhone 13 Pro Max’s battery has degraded significantly or you’re upgrading from the smaller sizes
Still using my 13 pro max . Almost 1 year 3 month used it, battery life still at 91% , can stand almost more than 10hours without charge it. Heavy usage , i do play games such as mobile legends, pubg with medium setting, still perform better
