Thanks Bevan; some really nice footage mate & the sound’s fantastic ! Really takes the viewer there 😊 Where are such trips advertised? I need to get in the know 😊 Thx
have they officially re-opened this train line.? is it operational all the way to mudgee? does anyone have any background on this line re-opening? thanks for the video bw
There is just one place at Clandulla to reverse the locomotive and it requires both diesels to shunt the carriages back and forth to reconfigure the train.
Thanks Rick, yeah it does seem illogical, but until you know the reason why, it only then becomes obvious as to why these locos are needed, however perhaps only one should be required. I'm pretty sure GL112 would be more suited to the task, as 4490 looks like it needs major work done on her.
I wish I could’ve gone to see this. Thanks for sharing Bevan!
It was a great trip and experience. We really enjoyed the trip and thought it was well worth the cost. Fantastic day
Can't beat the servo assisted zoom!
Great as always Bevan,thanks
Love the drone work Bevan
Great video.
thanks for sharing, looks very dry out there for September, very cold in winter (Lithgow)
It's cold this time of year as it's Winter-like but it's Spring.
Also N.S.W is going through a very bad drought too.

TWO diesels to assist Australia's most powerful steam loco on a relatively short train?
