It's beautiful there especially in the Fall . I'm listening to this as I write , it's so Beautiful I would like to loop it over and over and float in it while penning a Novel about a FairyTale that came true , like a miraculous flower that only blooms once in a life time, and you just by chance come upon it , that moment ! It takes your breath away. THATS WHAT YOUR MUSIC DOES TO ME !
On another Note , pun definitely meant ! My Grand Father Joseph Arnold said ARNOLD is a German Name it means Strength of an Eagle and Then he said You also have Cherokee Indian blood in You ,( which they now call Native Americans , as You know )from Your GrandMother's side .Then He said Your Great Great Grand Mother

The melody is all in a minor chord, so I'm not feeling the lightness of it. I think it sounds heavy so if I were in a field of wildflowers, this is not the kind of music that would make me feel light or happy. Sorry, Nadia. Your playing is great, but it's the repetitiveness of the minor chords, especially when they are harmonized, don't give it a light feeling, in my humble opinion.

I find this an intriguing reflection on this little tune, thank you for sharing your thoughts.
The more I look into this little melody and why I wrote, harmonized and played it the way I did, the more I realise that for me in light summer days there is always a little melancholic sweetness.
Because no matter what you do, you cannot hold onto them. You cannot make them last forever.
And when looking back on these days, in winter or later in life they seem like a sweet dream, a sweet little waltz, very gentle in the key of A-minor. 😊
@@nadiabirkenstock_harpsong Ok, well I'm glad one of us thinks it's light, I think the melody is oppressive. I like a lot of your music but some of them like the Trip to the Islands have a very oppressive, melancholy tone. Everyone has their own interpretation of what light sounds like so it's all preference. I'm not saying I dislike your music or that you're going to give a lot of weight to one person's opinion and you shouldn't. This is your music and you're going to write it your way. Thanks for being open to my viewpoint.
Well, I'm not open to it. Infact, I think it's stupid and find it very annoying. Perhaps you should look for a best of Ricky Martin cd and just go listen to that since you're so musically inclined.

You probably own Ricky Martin. And this is the only piece of hers that I gave a not so happy comment to. Everything else I love! And she goes to a lot of trouble filming in these locations. Do you own any of her CDs, including her Christmas one?
