To the people who say that Cats is just a stupid musical that doesn't make sense, it doesn't need to. It's based on a poem book written for children about how weird and magical cats are, as humans go on with their lives. Heck, I like to joke that Tugger's "I am" song is just explaining normal cat behavior.
I am re watching the 2019 film and the more I watch it the more I can accept it and I feel like skimbleshanks was one of the characters that they got right

I still refuse to watch the new Cats movie. Cats was the 1st musical I ever watched at Drury Lane. Skimbleshanks my favourite Cat/Song 😺
