50 Hogs Down

50 hogs down.
We combat the growing feral hog population almost each and every night. These hogs are tearing up farm and ranch land everywhere and we are tasked with helping the farmers and ranchers try to reclaim their land. The hogs make it virtually impossible for some of these people to grow crops such as corn, wheat and oats in certain areas. As soon as the crops are put in the ground the hogs destroy them. Farming and ranching are what these people depend on to feed their families which is one reason we do this. This is not your typical hunting. This is eradicating a problem animal from problem areas.

The drone shots provided an interesting angle. I have not see that before on other hog hunting channels. What do you do with the meat?

Thanks for the comment. There are a lot of licenses and permits that you have to have in order to use the drone. Which is why most people don’t do it. The ones that do, most of the time, find themselves getting into trouble with the parks and wildlife because of violating the permits for not knowing what they actually can and can’t do with the drone.
We feed them to other wildlife. We use to sell the meat but the place stopped buying.
