Turn your sleeve inside out to hem it. You won't have to worry about sewing your sleeve together. So much easier. Great job on the green coat. Amazing alterations!
Two videos within a week! It's like Christmas 😊 I love your long form videos. ❤ The dress is gorgeous. That fabric was a perfect choice. I've never been brave enough to sew my seams on my overlocker. I've always had to use my sewing machine first, and then follow up with overlocking. I'm just too much of a clutz and just don't trust myself to not screw it up. 😂
Oh, thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them as I worry they are too long sometimes 😅 Two videos in a week is a rarity, but I couldn't miss the Valentine's vibe ❤️
I am so glad that I made it through as much as I did of that green coat. I enjoy the fact that you go through the depth you do in these videos even if they are long. I would not mind if they were split up videos for segments or seeing the long video too for the whole processes.
I usually don’t sew vintage clothing, but I’ve learned more about grading from you than I ever learned from anyone. My foremothers taught me and when I was 8 invited me into their sewing circle. You looked fabulous and as a voluptuous myself , I feel you!! Good Sewing to you!!
hi sewing friend! in re: ppl telling you to wear baggy clothes, I say 'boo' to that nonsense. In re: switching threads on the overlocker, have you tried the knot trick? I don't remember which UA-cam genius demoed it after I'd bought my serger and was terrified about changing the threads out...but, you just snip the threads toward the spools, above the tensioners, then tie those ends (that are still wound through the machine) in a simple knot with the new color on all the threads, turn the tension allllllll the way down so it's all loosey-goosey, and then serge away until the new color works its way through.

I do usually do it inside out. I'm not sure why I didn't this time 😅 Thank you! 💚
You look great! Polka dots are just a happy classic.
Thank you! I agree ❤️

I have heard of that method, but it's not too tricky to change mine really. I just moan about it 🤣 x
Ha, fair enough! @@velvetycleopatra
hello very nice lady please kindly film how to thread the sewing machine and how to wind the bobbin please kindly let me know ok?thank you very much 😊
It would depend on your machine. It should tell you in the manual 😊
Baggy clothes make big women look so much bigger than they really are. Wear clothes that you like, not what "fashion gurus" Say you should wear.
I totally agree. I hate wearing baggy clothes and I don't find them comfortable anyway!
Que bonita sos ❤
