The you could have heard a mouse fart in that shop....aside from that I'm excited your working on the elan that sled is the reason I subbed in the beginning....I can't wait to see that thing standing up on end! Also amzoil in my opinion is very good assembly oil it coats well and stayed put. This is only my opinion though I'm sure everyone has there favorite oils and lube to use.

Louie you should be stuffing some rags around the connecting rod so when your putting on them circlips and washers that nothing can fall into your crankcase and under your crank and then you'll have to pull your entire crank case apart again, you probably already know this but seen it happen to many times not to say anything lol

Your doing a nice job but buy some 1.5 in Silicon heater hose to slip over the small end of your rods so when your meshing your pump shaft to the crank the rods dont bang the crap out of those new jugs.

Quick tip put an extension on your seal driver lol saves your fingers
