He can try be colorblind all he wants but cultural differences should never be dismissed. People who are in privilege like to pretend that everyone is like them so they feel better about themselves. His children may not need sunscreen as often as he does, he will need to learn how to do their hair, and adjust to the way they'll be treated and viewed by the world.
