    I think your husband should wait till you have a daughter and give her away on the wedding day...he'll know what the difference is...us gals go to the inlaws our lives are changed while their at home with their family and eife😑

    Rukhsati is about leaving your family to go and live/adjust with your new husband. Its not about you'll see them the next day lol. Its about not living with them anymore and kinda moving families? Everyone starts crying because they either remember their rukhsati or imagine that they are also going to have to leave their families one day.
    Thank you for the video for the helpful tips and for sharing your pictures with us Sebina you looked beautiful on all days MashaAllah! ♥

    many Scholars have reported there is a Hadith where if a woman leaves the house with makeup she is cursed by Allah.

    Weddings seems like too much stress lol. My husband and I are still thinking if we should have a wedding ceremony or not, but as you said Sebina, you have to compromise. And to be fair, there are no such thing as "not having a wedding" in the Bengali and the Turkish community and traditions😂

    The scholars are still urging people not to be extravagant in wedding parties and other expenses that have to do with weddings in general. They suggest that this is one of the factors that make the issue of marriage complicated for those who want to get married, to such an extent that the numbers of young women who remain unmarried have increased...

    Great informative video - FYI Mehndi/Henna is not a Hindu thing, yes the party part has become a thing but applying henna/Mehndi has been adopted from the Arab world. Years ago Hindu brides would use red colour only on their hands and not henna.

    Expensive dowries and extravagance in wedding parties are things that are contrary to sharee‘ah. The most blessed marriage is that which is affordable; the less the expenses are, the greater the blessings. This is something that in most cases is the fault of women, because women are the ones who force their husbands to pay for expensive parties that are not allowed in sharee‘ah.

    While your husbands right, henna night is more of a culture thing than religious.I wouldn't say henna night is literally for Hindus and Sikhs only. It's something that is a BIG deal in the Arab culture too - and something we've always done. No imitation of anyone.

      paaz 96 It's sad to hear that so many muslims pay such huge amount of money for their wedding, but each their own choice, I guess..
      Alhamdoelilaah, I got married last year and paid about €3.000 for the whole wedding... And my sister's was cheaper, because she had her wedding at home.
      So you can have an amazing wedding, blessed by Allaah without all the crazy expenses.
      May Allaah make it easy for all muslims. 💕

    Hey Sebinaah - hope ur good.. Does your makeup artist have a youtube channel? If not - do you think you could get her to do your makeup again for the sake of a youtube video. I'm sure many people would love to see this - especially if they are thinking of booking her in future. Like you said - i find nowadays the biggest problem is that all brides look the same with the heavy contour, heavy eyeliner, heavy blush, and same heavily caked face... so it would be great to see how this MUA does her makeup as it seems to look great in your pics!

    it's a little offensive what your other half said about sikhs and hindus and their hena nights, like yeah u might be 'imitating' our religion/culture but so what? And what is so sad is you make fun by smiling and sticking your tongue out when he says "Sikhs andd Hindus have hena days".. if thats the case u should tell him to keep his opinions to himself

    • @sarabeg6924
      @sarabeg6924 6 років тому +2

      Pria Kaur Muslims were told by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) not to imitate non-Muslims. So sorry you were offended, they could've said it more sensitively, but that is why some Muslims will refuse to have a mehndi function. I am devout and come from a devout Muslim family - my parents don't have an issue with such functions, but it's not a must for us. My aunt (dad's sister) is a scholar of the Qur'an and avoids such functions for the same aforementioned reason. But my mom's eldest sister is really into the old customs, so that's the opposite end of the spectrum there. I didn't care if I had a mehndi or not - for me it was just an extra expense and nothing else - and I wouldn't have had one if we hadn't had my reception abroad. My husband's family lives overseas and they wanted a big party so had a big dholki over there.

    The general principle according to which a man should conduct his spending is the same general principle according to which he should conduct his life, which is the middle way and moderation. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes)” [al-Furqaan 25:67..

    But what is required in such matters is to act in the way prescribed in Islam and not overstep that mark or be extravagant, because Allah - may He be glorified and exalted - has forbidden extravagance and has said that He does not like those who waste by extravagance...
