@@Polymath9 To me beat 2 (that EdimM7) just seems like an extension of a C7#9 chord that resolved to a C7b9 down to the Fm in the next bar. The b9 is obviously just a passing tone but that's what I see
@@aeralix9423 Thank you for your reply, I definitively see your point and I think it's correct. imo labels are just tools to help extracting the "logical essence" of music, plus these two chords (C7 or Edim7) both function as dominant chords so I don't think it's a big deal here lol. Also, I found that it should be C+7(#9 or b9) instead of C7.

@@Polymath9 It's all subjective anyways lol, the bass note C drops out pretty hard on beat 2 so I guess it's just how you want to conceptualize it
