    as expected, when an ethnically chinese guy who's grown up in an english--speaking environment instead of a cantonese-speaking one tries to speak some canto, u get a thousand comments telling you your canto isn't up to scratch like "hey 懶音 and your tones are all wrong". the moment a white guy tries speaking a few sentences of cantonese, everybody starts fawning over him and be like 'wow you're so good'. like seriously, check yourselves people.

    • @novelas3536
      @novelas3536 7 років тому +11

      zephyr84 It's understandable because I guess their standards for people who are "expected"(ethnic Chinese) to know a language will be harsher in criticism than that of a foreign-looking person that has no connection to the culture.

    mate - the style, presentation and editing of this video and your CNY video are moving you up to the next level. Its great to see a different styles from creators - ie this sitdown talk vs your moving vlogs. And whilst your 2015 round up was obviously inspired by Casey, these last two have been your own which is what makes them great. keep up the great work!

    Dim Sums are called 'touch the heart' because you don't want to eat too much that it touches your heart, that's why they come in small portions. The whole point of going to Yum Cha (which means to drink tea) is enjoying the tea rather than the food
