One of the coolest events in Kamen Rider Zi-O has been the return of Tsukasa Kadoya as Kamen Rider Decade, which has also led to one of the most intriguing mysteries of the show, which is where Decade's new powers come from! In this video, I go over some theories of mine for where this new Driver and power set could have come from, along with the Decade RideWatch!

decade revealed in ep 47 that he intentionally stored half his power in the decade ridewatch for safe keeping probably because he knew Schwartz’s plan to steal his power and knowing the nature of the rider cameos in zio it is entirely possible to just put powers in ridewatches
And he gets the zio card right after he retakes his power back from the ridewatch

What if the A.R. does not stand for Alternate Reality, but instead means Another Rider? To add details, during the Decade series, the worlds that he visits had riders but those who held the power were different than those of the main worlds.
But they weren’t like the another rider now in zi-o

For the one in Decade make sense, they are indeed just another Rider but for the Zi-O monster, it will be better just simply call them Corrupted Rider instead. Because of this "Another" name, they really just recycle Another Agito for Agito version of Another Rider in Zi-O. Such a lame...

The first theory actually has some weight to it,because according to Toei, all characters in ZI-O are the same as those in the main series and not a pararell world counterpart, that parallel world setting is only applied to build I think because of build's world setting in the main series
@Jeffery Tang With neodecadriver yes, with the original decadriver, yes as long as the original rider is next to him,and he can't change to them if he is not using the neo decadriver.
Unfortunately decade can only use the FFR cards for the phase 1 rider's the ones used for double and ooo's are exclusives not an actual ability.

I know that there's a preexisting official explanation for how the Decadriver works, but I sort of developed my own headcanon for it, purely because I like the theory just that much.
Dai Shocker built a Decade suit in the dimension of each and every rider, every one built specifically to accomodate that rider's power set and gimmicks, whether tech, magic, organics or even divine power. And then they built the Decadriver, which takes each and every one of those suits, and merges them into one on top of the user.
As a result, Decade's actual armor is essentially a multi-dimensional overlay of each and every alternate Decade suit, all designed to perfectly overlap over each other across the dimensions, and when Decade utilizes the cards, he essentially shuffles up that dimensional stack, bringing out the required alternate suit that he needs at the moment. In addition, that's also why Decade has ended up getting powered up later. The Neo Decadriver has probably been designed, instead of utilizing each suit separately, to let them bleed over into each other and into the base suit, thus allowing Decade to utilize their weapons and powers simultaneously, even if in somewhat limited capacity. In addition, it also increased the durability and power of his base suit, by letting every other one amplify it, covering up the weak points in the others.
I like this. it just scientific enough to make sense.
This does explain for when he transforms into Wizard's base form & can use Wizard's water abilities without having to change into said rider forms like he usually did for all the Heisei Riders before him.
Tsukasa always had access to other Rider's powers due to the Rider cards themselves. This happen when W cameo in the last Decade movie. Tsukasa got the W card and Final attack ride card (as well as Skull's card). That move also destroyed and retconned all 9 different AR worlds back to their normal timeline. This left Build's world back in the AR universe being the only way to transverse the two realms being through Helheim that seems to be the nexus point between Build's Universe and the primary rider universe. What probably happen was every rider card he gained (via movies) kept increasing his belt's overall power. When it transformed into the Neo Decadedriver it probably had an after effect of creating his own decade watch. This leads us to the events Episodes 25-28 and 15-16 (in order of where Tsukasa fits or his own investigation to keep Zi-O from straying from the path of destruction). Tsukasa, Suogo and Kouta are a trinity of themselves. Tsukasa acts as a hunter-killer keeping the Riderverse on the strait and towards Justice (hence the destroyer of worlds), Suogo was the keeper of time and Space and Kouta acts as the nexus between the Original Riderverse and any AR worlds that have riders on them.
Wasn't the world of Build also merged with the Kamen Rider prime universe?
I have another theory maybe Neo Decade come to the world because realize Zi-O will become rampaging Demon King in the future so Decade play trick again try to stop the bad future to be happened, because it seems Oma Zi-O is Zi-O himself, and why there is Woz try to defeat Zi-O? And why Oma-Zio reluctant for Zi-O to collect and use every Riderwatch? Seemed the biggest enemy of Zi-O is himself become good king or rampaging demon king...

Not just KR cards, Decade could also absorb Shinken Red Arsenal and even use Goseiger Card... So it will be easy just for upgrading the driver...
But in hellheim there is also AR Rider, Remember KR Fifteen?
My theory is that Decade can't be erased as not only is he from an alternate reality but his Origin as a version of Great Leader. Which is could be traced back all the way to the Showa era. Decade can also transform into Showa Riders. As for the origin of the Deca Driver and Diend Driver they were created by Decade World's version of Rider Man. Their K-Touch upgrade respectively were hidden on other worlds.
Build is also form different world yet he lose his memories....agin,he is just too op i guess,plus some rider keep their memory,like blade and agito

There is a way to explain the decade ridewatch. He develop it out of fear. After obtaining the power of the 19 riders in his adventure, he fear that the wrong hand may have a way to obtain his power so when he was about to travel to the world of Zi-O, he preloaded a blank ridewatch he found somewhere with half of his power so when someone like Swartz takes his power away, he will be able to burrow from Zi-O his decade ridewatch to transform and fight.
The second theory is impossible because woz himself acknowledges the destroyer of worlds as a legend rider,which wouldn’t apply if he is from an alternate universe,a better theory would be Diend stealing them from a reformed dai-shocker

But the merger of worlds made it so that World of Decade was merged with World of Zi-O
Here's my theory: both the Neo-Decadriver and Neo-Diendriver were made in 2068 when Tsukasa and Daiki accidentally visited the world of Zi-O's future. The two of them encountered Ohma Zi-O and were lost to him in a fight, resulting in their gears broken. The two then visited a residence and received an info of a derelict R&D facility. Long story short, they went there and upgraded their Drivers with Ridewatch technology, resulting in them getting their respective new powers. This also resulted in the creation of Decade Ridewatch, which they believe as the key to change the world's history. They then fought Ohma Zi-O again and ended up in a draw with the overlord letting them go for the time being to heal his wounds. Decade and Diend then went on their own missions to preserve the Kamen Rider legacy.

@@thomasjujube this could also the reason why Decade was considered as Ohma Zi-O's greatest nemesis, because he was the only Rider that the overlord himself has yet to defeat, and it could be the reason why we didn't see Decade's statue in Ohma Zi-O's monument.
@@thomasjujube the Ridewatch tech also enabled them to travel through the world's space-time continuum without using the Time Mazine. This was also backed up that their world-travelling ability has the same nature as above, hence why they could do it with relative ease.
@@thomasjujube heck, i even dare to say that Ohma Zi-O held a degree of respect to our favorite world travellers. Could be why Diend was able to relay his message after the Blade Arc.

I think that's why I like the older series, because it was a show first, and then you could get the toy of the belt or the wristband or whatever so you could enact it yourself. The shows these days are just a showcase for the _multiple_ belts that are hyped even before they appear in the show, and the _endless_ amounts of gimmick devices (and I do like the gimmick stuff) that anyone would have to spend a fortune on if they wanted to get a complete set. Like all the lockseeds or ridewatches. And then just after you got the belt, a friggin recolor of it comes out, the same thing but different enough that you still want to get it, to say nothing of secondary belts, some of which don't even appear in more than a few episodes. Most of my favorite belts are the ones that just make sound effects, especially the ones with more of a mechanism, like Hopper Zecter, Den-O Zeranos, and Ixa. To be honest with you I really dislike the ones that have voice sayings & music that go on, I get sick of them very quickly. Maybe one saying is fine but I don't need a whole show quoted in a sound bite catalog in the toy and 50 different gadgets to unlock each one. :/

Yea uhh it's called watch the ending of zi-o and compare it to the making of the grand zi-o ridewatch and the possible reason why the new decadriver is even real and oh boy does it become simpler to explain but still don't make it easy to wrap head around and figure things out

My idea is that given the multi-dimension nature of Tsukasa/Decade, it'd be hard to write him out of history when it comes to creating his Watches for both Sougo and the Time Jackers, hence why we've seen no Another Decade.
Well, yet at least, though with how the show has Another Riders created from the Blade Arc onward, Decade wouldn't be erased anyway, though what an Another Decade could do is quite a puzzle since with them using the idea of becoming other Another Riders was already done with Another Zi-O.
Update: Toei lol'd at me with that idea given recent episodes, still, I think the multi-dimensional nature of Decade should have still prevented an Another Decade, but what can I do?
As for the Neo DecaDriver, I kind of want to go with the idea that the DecaDriver was always capable of upgrading and using cards of those later Riders, but Tsukasa wanted/had to wait until it was worth upgrading, say like another ten Heisei Riders laters.
Though the only thing that adds to that idea however is the fact that he was able to use a Final Form Ride card for Double in the original Movie War film, who was immediately after Decade himself, and that's it given later appearances of Tsukasa always kept him using the Riders before him, likely because of costs and to save having explain why a new Driver.
Honestly, if it was doable, I'd want to see them do a Rider Time series for Decade which shows us how in canon, Tsukasa got a Neo DecaDriver and Daiki the Neo DienDriver, though it, like everything else, is just a case of budget and if they'll dedicate such a thing for Decade.
After all, as of this edit, it's only now we're getting a Hyper Battle Video for Zi-O, whereas in previous seasons, we have one sometime after the second/third Rider appears, one that's released post-series but takes place during the shows run, generally before the final stretch, and as of Ghost, a UA-cam short series with a DVD release that compiles the shorts together with the last episode for it included, and gets packed with the gimmick item featured in the shorts.

Chances is that the'll just make a Zi-O vs Decade movie and use the fact the Decade is one of the most popular to push it.
Actually in episode 42, there was a statue of another decade and another drive seen with another zi-o but their backs were turned so one can hope to see them in full.

Decade could always time travel as shown in decade and Den-O movie.
It’d be interesting if the Neo Decadriver was massively produced so anyone could become their favorite Kamen Rider. It’d also be great if individual Rider Cards were duplicated and massively produced. Just as long as it doesn’t cause any time paradoxes, or endanger your life and well-being, just like the original drivers that could infect you, kill you, possess you, or make everyone forgot about you, then erase you from existence entirely.

Tsukasa has told us that he himself manifested the Decade ridewatch as a contingency plan in case his power got sucked out by the Timejackers. He kept 50% of his power in the ridewatch so that he could use it whenever he fucked up.
i think when upgrading the deca driver: decade chose to give up the different forms of all the over riders in order to compusate for the over new riders, since in the prinium bandai version dosen't have any form ride cards or sounds (i don't know about sounds but from what iv seen it dosen't have it) because it dosen't use different forms that power got put in his rider watch so that way it wont be lost but stored. this shown when decade turned into Agito and used Agitos sword even thou he wasent in fare form, and using wizared fire form and then controlling water even tho that is a power that can only be used in the water form. i guess thanks to the add on of the new riders in the deca driver, there power's then enhanced each others given decade the add on ability of over forms even tho he is in the base form. as for zi-os card i think that will get reviled on the last episode when the show ends.
at least after Decade gets the Zi-O card he gets a supplementary card to become a Complete Form, and also I want to know if Grand Zi-O can be summoned at that time

What I think about this upgrade is that Decade compressed all of his Form Ride and Attack Ride cards into one single Kamen Ride card for each of the respective Legend Rider forms (except Decade's).
We know that whenever Decade appears the story lines and the other riders fate derailed in some way. In real life inconsistency is constant. Hah...

My head cannon Sento made it for Tsukasa. Remember the Build system can replicate other riders like the DCD system this would also explain why the logos on the buckle on goes up to Build. Its nowhere near out of the question that Sento could upgrade it.
NEO decade is technically the 3rd Tsukasa to exist until now
there's only 1 Tsukasa which makes theory 2 not work. there have been plenty of times they could've done that in the past but Tsukasa is the one destroyer of world's who travels the worlds to see what they have to offer. Tsukasa doesn't just dimension hop. for every dimension he ends up in that world dresses him up to play a role for something. those roles tend to vary from being a random civilian to a construction worker, in the wizard cross over being a temporary pawn for the one who summoned him, in the heisei vs showa riders uncovering the mystery of that antagonist rider with the legendary rider lock that had his powers included, and his driver also can call upon the powers of Showa Era riders if he feels he needs to use them. after all in his final episode movie that crosses over into double(W) he managed to defeat and claim Showa era AR cards as well.
There's no denying this is the same Tsukasa fans have known since his original series season. since aside from being an anniversary season type of ride in the same way Zi-O is, Tsukasa's experiences from fighting various riders and monsters including ones who have copied his own abilities aren't anything new hence why no matter how powered Zi-O gets Decade's experience trumps his for the time being. as for why he would be antagonistic in this season, well again it goes into how the worlds themselves put Tsukasa in certain roles he has to play and more often than not especially his post season adventures are often him playing the role of villain and can't or likely won't say anything to why till he feels he's found the opening to reveal his true motives to everyone.
the heisei vs showa riders movie closes out his original season story according to the writers of that movie. Zi-O involving Decade and Diend is likely someone wanting to give the 2 of them some long overdue developments most fans have been asking for too. beyond that it's all a guess as to where things can go. All we're missing is for someone to go "Onare.... DECADE!!!!" XD
I think you're right. Decade being antagonistic in other Rider's respective story doesn't mean he is truly bad/villain. He's just living his name~ a passing through Rider.
I like the theory that he finds a DECADE upgrade card, similar to what's given to Diend. The card would force the Decadriver to transform and could probably be found with the ride-watch.
It is also possible that after Tsukasa realized that the Kamen Rider Universe is expanding, so is his range of powers. The fact that he was able to travel to new KR Worlds, also means he can acquire new powers as well, thus upgrading his Deca Driver along the way. He probably realized that when he saw his new Driver with new insignias of other Riders ahead of him
Also in the Over Quartzer movie, (spoilers) during the final battle Decade used the original Decadriver so that's pretty interesting 🤔

Thanks for that theory! But I also have my own theory. As we see in the series' episode 29, Tsukasa wants Sougo to avert his destiny as Oma Zi-O when he went back to 2009 as the driver of the bus. Meanwhile when he was siding with the Time Jackers, he strongly opposes Sougo's path to Oma Zi-O by secretly providing and supporting the boy by gifting him the Decade Watch. He also teleport Sougo to the year 2068 in order to give him a glimpse of his tyrannical reign in order to change the future. As for how he acquired the cards of W to Build, I also believe that he took advantage of his role as Great Leader of Dai-Shocker to kidnap the parallel counterparts of the original W to Build and killed them offscreen by turning them into cards
Tsukasa probably got the Neo Decadriver from the same Organization who created the original Decadriver, the Organization that Tsukasa was the leader of before the Decade season started. As to how he got the new powers I would assume he went all Decade season 2 off screen destroying alternate worlds. Its likely that this happened as Kamen Rider Build Overwrote his own Earth with the one that ZI-O is on.
Fun fact:the neo decadriver has a function of allowing decade to transform into the past heisei without the need of using Attack rides, and Form Rides.
Probably because if all the Neo Heisei Riders' forms and attacks are turned into Form Ride and Attack Ride cards, Decade's going to need a waist full of Ride Bookers.

The cards could float around in the sky coming from where he puts his cards, all will fall in line and form the Neo DecaDriver just like how the small Decade silhouettes all form Decade's suit
About the Decade ridewatch, in the Decade show, part of his dimension powers is that he magically receives clothes and equipment that he needs in order to fulfill his role in that world. It is possible that that is how he got the ridewatch.
When decade was just announced it's cameo in the show...all that I could think of that decade had already been traveling the other rider worlds and had gained the neo decadriver during zi-o's origin timeline(before he became oma zi-o)...I say this because I noticed that he had his cameo in one of episodes in wizard along with gaim's movie "showa vs heisei"...From there I used to make a theory that he was the last survivor from the reign of oma Zi-o...In this timeline decade and other few riders attempt to go on a final attack on oma zi-o but it ended up being backfired badly since decade was the last one standing resulting him to make a retreat and took his ridewatch in the process... from there he had an Idea that he wanted to change the future... So with his ability to destroy worlds, he decided to go back in time and hunt down Zi-o while having his own fun mocking zi-o 2019... And I guess that's probably why he said to sogou that he'll never be king as long as he's there to destroy it before sogou does become king in the end...
But hey that's just my theory before episode 13... Not sure it's true or not but this is just an idea that I've been curious about....
i like to think that decade ridewatch is somewhat a bootstrap paradox, tsukasa finds it, his decadriver got upgraded after collecting neo heisei cards + dcd ridewatch, he gave the ridewatch to zi-o/geiz, and future zi-o leaves the decade ridewatch for tsukasa to find it and the cycle goes on
watching this again after watching rider time zi-o vs decade, the new k touch is even more confusing than the neodecadriver itself
So to propose a more likely theory, as seen in Decade's show (spoilers for those who care), it is revealed that both the decadriver and Dienddriver were created by the organization Dai-Shocker, which prior to his memory loss, Tsukasa was in charge of. He created both drivers himself and was part of the reason the whole worlds being conquered was occurring. Furthermore, Tsukasa is unique in that because of his nature as someone who doesn't belong in any world (except his own) he has the ability to dimension hop/gain a role in new worlds he travels to. More than likely, he simply created the Neo Decadriver himself, and the Diend one as well. Furthermore, Tsukasa is akin to a Singularity Point, aka he is the only Tsukasa (from my understanding). The Decade ridewatch can exist alongside him just like Den-o's from my understanding, and the uniqueness of his ridewatch is simply in conjunction with how his powers work. As they say the simplest answer is most likely the correct one. Furthermore as mentioned he gains a "role" when the travels to a world, most likely he was given the role to aid the TimeJackers in Zio's world.

THANK YOU! I was like "Tsukasa, how the F**K DID YOU GET THAT NEO DECADRIVER?!", and your theory is solid. I prefer the first one more than the second since the Tsukasa we see could easily have been a slightly older version of himself just traveling across the parallels of other Kamen Rider worlds, always curious how "perfect" he could borrow their powers too. It only feels fair that he upgraded himself.

I think it’s been confirmed that Decade is going to be some sort of recurring cast member so I guess that’s true to some effect
What if decade and zi-o are just polar opposites. Like a yin and yang situation. As zi-o's power grew decade's grew to match it. And vice versa. Since they both have have the potential to destroy/create depending on your perspective. They could then use each others power. All though decade never uses zi-o's powers that I remember. That doesn't mean he couldn't.

The Decade ridewatch is half of his powers taken from the Neo Decade driver, he mentioned it when he fought Neo Diend who transformed into Another Zi-O 2 after reviving Decade.
From what i understand from his original series. he is kinda an editor. he was task to travel to alternate world by OG rider to destroy them and recreate them after which all world(alternate and OG) are balance.

Well, I think that maybe when the powers of Zi-O activate...the neo decadriver was created and then the decade ridewatch like a sub-product of this. Tsukasa can travel to the Oma Zi-O world,so maybe when Zi-O and that timeline was created he adquire the new powers. I think there is a connection between Decade and Zi-O
There is a simple explanation. During each Super Hero Taisen, Decade has made an appearance with the major leads. So, during each Taisen, he had obtained their power. Though Fourze, Gaim, and Build are all special cases. Decade obtained the W card during the Movie War 2010. During the first SHT, he obtained OOO and Fourze's whilst they were in the void. During SHTz, he obtained Wizard's, and during _Kamen Rider_ Taisen, he obtained Gaim's power during the final battle with Fifteen. SHT3, he obtains Drive's powers. During CSHT, he gains Ghost and Ex-Aid's power whilst battling Shocker. Though, his previous Decadriver model was incapable of replicating their forms due to it being designed to replicate the original Heisei Riders who challenged Dai Shocker.
It all changes when he obtains the Decade Ridewatch in 2009 because of Oma Zi-O possibly spreading them as tokens for Sougo to steal the powers of the previous Riders to reach his level quicker than anticipated, which instead of absorbing his powers, simply amplifies them. Tsukasa not only gains the power to travel through the dimensions _timespace_ itself, but he also gains the ability to use the Neo Heisei Ride Cards he obtained along the way using his upgraded Decadriver, which he simply named "Neo Decadriver" to keep it small.

My theory is that since decade had a few endings the time jackers went to one ending where decade took over shocker as he was intended and why he is the destroyer of worlds instead of the befriender of riders. Once the time jackers found a version of decade they could use they gave him a new power. Since he obtained the phase 2 cards with the power of the time jackers he didn’t earn them like the rest of the cards. Therefore builds disappeared upon the first use and any cards that do remain he’s already done to those worlds before meeting Zi-O. Since he works with the time jackers his new powers could allow his portals to go through time.
my idea is when decade got his normal decadriver upgraded, the first 9 symbols was on the their just like the neo decadriver and he had to go and get all the other cards of the kamen riders after him, and when he got the cards of the kamen riders, other forms/powers (just for an example den-o gun form and kabuto clock up) the symbols will appear on the neo decadriver. for an example If he got all the cards for w or gaim or fourze, the symbol will appear on the neo decadriver.

To answer why Tsukasa has the ride watch when he appears: In his series, when he pops up in a new worldhe usually has a key item with him to help him in the world. In this case, it would be the ride watch.

My theory is that he combined the energy of the decadriver and the k-touch to make the neo. We have yet to see the k-touch in zi-o and since that’s his ultimate you’d think he’d use it atleast once
Decade portal went back through time in the Den-o movie so it is possible that this decade is the same one
He did say that he put some of his power into the decade ridewatch, maybe it changed as his power shifted forms

A few things I'd like to note
Shirakura probably just said the movie is "non canon" so people don't feel forced to watch the movie to understand the show
Also I think all the Riders that show up in the movie are from the past, probably their respective years, so that Tsukasa is just 2009 Tsukasa, hence why he doesn't have the Neo Decadriver like 2019 Tsukasa

Tsukasa knew Sougo from that accident back in 2009, right? Maybe he figured he would need an upgrade and grabbed a blank Ridewatch, making the Decade Ridewatch

So to compensate that he made himself the Neo Decadriver with Shocker tech
Because in my head at the end of the show Sougo might give the Ridewatches back to all the Legend Riders, and when Tsukasa gets his back he just gets his old Decadriver back

I got a theory that might be true,after the end of every season of kamen rider he appears in that dimension and get that power get the cards in every dimension
My theory on it is whenever decade arrived in zio's world, he got the decade ride watch. My reasoning for this is when build merged his and sougo's world, he ended up with the build ride watch randomly in his hand, whenever decade presses the button on the ride watch he gets the neo decade driver, so in theory his neo decadriver is the power of the ride watch when tsukasa uses it.
Tsukasa did actually travelled to neo heisei worlds... Remember the final episodes of Wizard, Heisei vs Showa movie, you can see Tsukasa taking pictures with his “magenta” camera😱 sounds familiar? Tsukasa probably acquired his neo deca driver through that camera.
If I had to guess based on what the series showed after the point that is being talked about in this video is that he didn't need zi-o's power but needed up to build which likely made the new decadriver and the old decadriver became the watch cause when he showed up he didn't meet with zi-o before the point so he never had his power till a while after being introduced... as for how he would of gotten the powers of the riders afterwords to make em without zi-o's power is a weird thing but I think it might have to do with the fact that every world of kamen rider is linked in one form or aknother like say through the watches or decades cards but now that I think back to it (oh and spoilers btw for end of zi-o cause I know people gonna be picky bout spoilers but oh well) seeing only one planet of kamen rider was weird but when it split up I think it's because the link of 2 people being in the same "world" and having links to the other ones of kamen riders but when ya take into account the fact that everything seemed to be centered around the one world while the others were never shown after they first showed up and zi o left makes me think that mayhaps instead of just becoming one in the regular way it's more like consolidating the timeline of kamen rider into a single "world" and them splitting apart might be the way of saying that the timeline is no longer consolidated through the use of 2 or more points of connections (tsucasa with the new decadriver and zi-o with his driver and watches which unify into the grand zi-o watch.......) man my head hurts now from trying to figure this out

I assumed that the decadriver upgraded to the neo-decadriver after having visited the ar worlds of w through to build and obtained the rider cards relevant to that world, however its incomplete and requires the rider cards from zi-o's world to complete it

My theory about it is based on Decade's show. He travelled to the AR Worlds of the Neo Heisei/Heisei Part 2 Riders. Gaining newer cards but never actually managing to use them. Only difference is that the AR Worlds are now AR Worlds but the Riders are the same as the Original kinda like branching paths of What if Sento did this instead, etc. From there, he encountered World of Zi-O, encountering Ohma Zi-O. He decided to travel to a point before Ohma saw Zi-O use Decade Ride Watch and Stole it. Now, IIRC Diend managed to create a ride watch for Geitz to become Geitz Majesty using his Ride Cards. What if Tsukasa did the same, Combining his Decade Driver and Ride Watch along with the newer Ride Cards to create a new driver that can handle the new Ride Cards, hence the Neo DecaDriver is created. Also explains how Tsukasa can Nullify a Ride Watch.
I think he made the Ride Watch, by using half of his power. Its why he didn't have access to his complete form or can use the Final Forms of other riders like Ultimate, Shining, Survive. Kinda also says why the Ride Watch shouts Final Form Time. It showed Build Sparkling when it should have been Genius as that is Builds Final Form as it is only at half power.

I think that the Decade in Zi-O is an AR Rider, and this is backed up by the fact that Decade's actor announced he won't be returning to Kamen Rider after Zi-O. So if Decade does return in the future, it could be an AR Tsukasa, like the legend riders in Decade weren't the original rider, just new faces and the same powers. But, I could be wrong, and, like Gosei said to Jake, there's just a simple explanation for it.

I always thought that Tsukasa upgraded his Driver himself as he was the one who commissioned its creation when he was the leader of Dai-Shocker, so he must have a knowledge of its technical specs, and Eijiro Was the head scientist of said organization as Doctor Shinigami so both decided that it was time to upgrade it.
That makes a lot of sense. I quit quite like the idea of Tsukasa to making the Neo DecaDriver himself so he can be more powerful

Hmm, but decade did manage to access forms and ability beyond the first 10 heisei rider into showa riders (in super hero taisen which he transform to Kamen rider Ichigo) with the rider cards as well as non riders ability (samurai sentai cross over), which may prove that decade is able to access the ability of any rider as long as he have the rider card, form card or ability card.
As to the formation of the decade ride watch and the neo decade driver, my theory is that his original decade driver was used to construct the decade ride watch and Tsukasa then construct the neo decade driver.

from what I saw, the Decade ride watch is half of Decades power to be given to Zi-o. In short, Decade is flexing on this season by defeating them with half strength.
My take on this is that the decade ride watch is the old decade while the new deca driver he took again from another world
I personally think the first theory is a bit convoluted. First of all, from the recent episodes, the most recent episode being ep 32, which is about Agito. From the some first minute of the episode, we can see Uhr creating the Agito Ridewatch by just imbuing (or more accurately, absorbing) the power of said Rider, this can be applied the same way for the Decade Ridewatch, which Tsukasa created by just imbuing his power to the Blank Ridewatch he has, but because of his Rider unique physiology, the Decade Ridewatch somewhat evolved into a more advanced one than the other watches. And for the Neo Decadriver, there is a simple explanation for that, the original driver was upgraded to this more advanced version by Decade himself, with no extra powers imbued into it, just being upgraded, like how the original driver didn't even need the help/powers of the original riders when Dai-Shocker created it. (P.S the thing about Neo-Decadriver i might have not explained well enough for you to understand, but oh well). (P.S: this is being said by me, whom has watched most of the original heisei shows and the new ones, including their movies)
