My moms friend told me a story about one time during the 1970’s, how she was down in Washington during night time. She was waiting for her dad to pick her up at the bus stop, because there were no more buses coming. Suddenly a car pulled up, and the man inside asked if she wanted to get in the car instead of waiting out in the dark. She said she was okay, but the man kept insisting her to get in the car saying that he didn’t want her to wait in the dark. She then said that her dad was coming to pick her up and he was a cop. Right as she said that the man sped away. Awhile later when she got to the city with her dad she read a newspaper clipping that said a serial killer named Ted Bundy was caught. In the clipping , it showed a picture of him and she recognized him being the man in the car that night.

My best friends dad is a psychologist and interviewed Ted Bundy. I had some really good conversations with them about how it went. He said that out of all of the killers, cannibals and other criminals he has interviewed, Bundy was by far the scariest.

She never did. She passed away in 1999 and wasn’t very old... she later developed health conditions I’m not sure how true that is but I personally believe it was due to the depression and heartbreak of losing her daughter

God I remember it so well! I was a 20 year old with long dark hair, fit his profile. My mother called me and told me to lock my doors and windows and stay in the house! It didn't matter to her that we lived in Illinois at the time. She was SURE he'd get me because I looked like his victims. I remember feeling so sorry for these victims and their families. I still do after all these years.

Ted Bundy was a very confusing killer, evil but very confusing his prison psychologist even said that he had a very interesting persona to him, which isn't that suprising since the guy majored in psychology. But what his psychologist did manage to deem the most likely reason he snapped was when he told him that his wife or girlfriend (been a while since I read his book) cheated on him and that was it for me, that was the only time that Ted Bundy started to actully sound like a killer he said.

I don’t feel bad for his sentence ruling. Someone like myself can see him for how evil he acted with his lying, manipulative , and grotesque actions. Many people seem to only see the celebrity this guy was made out to be and not the absolutely sickening actions he did. With that said, Ted had a good life and even admitted it. His confusion of his childhood is what impacted him because he got into arguments with his step dad and he believed his mom was his sister (this is a well know occurrence that contributes to psychopathy). But he did get loved
Even with that, it wasn’t enough to be understanding of dismembering innocent life. He was plain and simply looking to hurt people and they even think he killed a young girl both of them around at age 14.
People plain and simple either want to hurt people or don’t. There’s no excuse for it and it’s very rare someone is a victim especially like that. We all need love but of we don’t receive love it’s no excuse to hate.

This guy was the absolute definition of an utter psychopath. His ego was so insane everything his defense attorneys did to help him in court he sabotaged, at one point even cross examining a cop asking the cop to describe the crime scene in extreme detail as if Bundy was getting off by hearing it. It worked out good for the public though because he talked himself right into the electric chair. He reminds me of the Long Island railroad killer Colin Ferguson who also defended himself in court, who would arrogantly interrogate the witnesses as if her were Perry Mason. There seems to be something with serial killers where they have this completely off the chart egotism.

You're not a shrink. Everything isn't in the eyes. You can see the "evil" because he wants you to see it. Otherwise he's just like one of us. That is the sheer skill of being a psychopath, hence they're devoid of emotion, mechanically fluid and meticulous or impulsive and disorganized and should find interesting things as part of their passion in life before they go down the road that Ted did. People shouldn't let those close to us walk down a path that's not worth it and be kind, that's all. If you listen to Ted's tapes and recordings from other serial killers you'll find one common thing, they were almost always incredibly lonely. Alienation can create a monster in a second, I've had quite a similar life so I can empathize with them, essentially they become misanthropic and need to exercise control in order to feel alive, they all have different triggers but people should really educate themselves before commenting something as callous as "you can see the evil...." Crime has evolved.

Honestly I will admit he is very good looking and attractive but combine that together with being manipulating, he's good at controlling people, he truly is a very terrifying murderer because he has this skill of being able to get what he wants.

I had a teacher that looks EXACTLY like him and ironically he was the elective forensics teacher. His name was mr. kavin, kids, even the teachers would crack jokes but it effected him when it came to his overall bubbly personality. He changed and was a prime example that words hurt. At the end of the year He quit and haven’t seen him since.

An attractive person is not just the looks, it is how he treats you and sees you. His victims all had something in commun, they wanted to help a human being so this is how he got to them.
