Original Blender character rigged and saved as FBX (followed your method)...once in CC4 or Iclone 8, none of the motion options available. Even Blend Character in T-pose yet CC4/Iclone 8 says it's not so I can't modify it. Any thoughts?
What is the procedure for importing a rigged model that has a bunch of shapekeys from blender? Is there an easy way to have those shapekeys be converted into morphs?
im doing it right now. Im using it as a method to kitbash character assets like giving CC4 characters imported clothing and armor and stuff like that. I suppose if I wanted to animate using iclone, I would be doing the same thing.
wakadoo! thanks for showing it in real life, been on the fence about it. fence is tipping over rapidly.
Thanks for the overview. Do will still have to apply textures manually after FBX import? I'd hoped that would have been fixed.
Do you know if there is a way to import character with facial shape keys to work with the motionlive plugin?
please help. How did you get it to work the second time

Once you import a character into CC4, can its assets be applied to it (like textures, hair, etc)?
Textures are not importing
Do i need iclone to use character creator?
no but its very useful and they have discounts usually iClone is for animation
But why would you want or need to take your character from Blender to Character Creator?! We always take characters from CC to Blender. right?

Great video…. Seems easy enough… now is there a way to import characters from character creator 4 to blender?.
yeah there's 2 options. 1 - export to FBX 2 - use the CC to Blender add-on. there's some videos on it
Really need to get a copy of cc4 but money right. Lol
