She did nothing out of mistake. It was all intended.

3:34 Meloni really looks angry 😅.
I thought the same haha
I'm usually a more centre voter but i do feel that for this period we do need a leader who is more Right-Wing.
I'm not sure why you mark Estonia as "North-Eastern" but Portugal as "Southern". By this logic, Portugal is "South-Western".
From a Portuguese in Estonia 😅
Any self-respecting Eastern European will look like he's eating a citrus peel, after hearing their country is in Eastern Europe. Even though all former Warsaw pact and USSR members are geopolitically just that. For EU's leadership positions, geopolitics matter, not the geography.
Combine geography with geopolitical naming to soften the blow, without losing all of the intent.
From an Estonian (not in Eastern Europe)
Good sense of direction.
@@netiturtle the point is that I (and others) don't like the traditional Southern European branding as it is associated often with laziness, etc... for some reason
It's easy though. Look at the map Portugal is on the South part of Europe and Estonia is on the North East side of Europe.
@@lovelightjoy1868 if you insist in saying that Estonia is located on the North East, then you NEED to say that Portugal on the South West, because that is literally where it is. In fact, to a portuguese, every single other european is "eastern european" as literally that is no country as western as Portugal and yet there are several further south including Spain, Italy, Greece, etc
I am not happy with these choices. Let's do better.
Great video. I love learning european politics in this channel.
Great job!!! Not only for informing us on what might happen but also on going into the details!!!!!
Glad you liked it!
Only the obedient servant of US could take up this top job. No question.
Another der Leyen term? Time for Polexit
Some other waster funded by the WEF.
Deciding who gets the top jobs over dinner between them... Sounds democratic...

Cheers to Finland and Estonia!
Ahahahaah Kaja is horrible
Better Ursula than Kaja

You forgot to mention that only one of the 3 candidates is not under investigation-Mrs.Kallas.Would have been more informative.
Literally every party leader even the side one's is under investigation for corruption.
I think the reality is that "corruption" is a political tool used now days for the parties to shit on eachother.
I'll guarantee to you that almost every institution you have in your nation suffers to some degree from corruption from big dogs like administration all the way to your local lock smith being in cahoot with your mayor.
It doesn't mean that all the systems are rotten to the core, rather, how much politicians are willing to cooperate with other parties usually kind of shows how open they are to doing something meaningful.
Estonia leading EU Foreign Policy is perhaps the best choice there is.
Opposing Russia with understanding of the Eastern and Central European issues.
Opposing China and actively fighting for digital security and freedom as a sovereign nation.
Estonia, where they have monuments and streets named after Nazis. Don't think so.
No is not becouse in any case they do whatever von der leyen say or then we would not be in the situation we have been for years, all the sistem as failed a while ago (failed for us but all as intended for them by the moment they always wanted to full europe with migrants, everyone who have been in charge during the past years must be sacked)
kaja kallas is corrupt
Couldn’t get a better person than Kaja Kallas for foreign affairs and security.

"The will of the European people was ignored today in Brussels" - Orban
Bro the will of the European people put ID and ECR in the minority, it's not only democracy when it's convenient to you. Gaining from previous doesn't mean winning.
if ECR and ID merge, it becomes the second group at the EU parliament
@@blap4890 Setting aside for a moment that merging would be a bold faced power grabbing move and nothing short than a betrayal of their electors and the platforms that they were voted to enact given how widely they differ in their right wing stances, among which a completely incompatible foreign policy and their approaches at using the EU to do things domestically. If they actually manage to get all the votes they need to fill all jobs excluding Left, SD, Renew and Greens that would be democracy too.
A complete circus of a democracy that won't last a month, but a democratically elected circus nonetheless. It would embarass the EU just like Trump demolished the US rep, and they're going to shame themselves into big national level losses, as they will finally prove that they are the causes of most EU level issues they love to complain about.
But with such a small margin and such deep incompatibilities among them that's complete fantasy, and without enough votes you don't have a coalition that can govern, so they have been put in the minority by the EU people's will still.
@@blap4890 yeah, but fascists barely can work together. that's why they are two different groups and many more if you count fidez or afd and the like

The EU commission president must be approved by all members of the EU because it forms the face of the EU in the world. The same as for the current position of J.
