- Today was the grand opening of Julien's Auctions museum-style exhibition with over 1,400 of Janet Jackson's personal items on display and I was there!!
Janet has been music royalty for over 45 years and generously partnered with Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills, California, for a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans to purchase her most iconic and recognizable treasures from music videos of her biggest hits like Rhythm Nation, Miss You Much, Together Again, Scream (with brother Michael), Nasty, Control, What Have You Done For Me Lately, If, All For You, The Pleasure Principle, Feedback, Doesn't Really Matter, Escapade, Black Cat, When I Think of You, Made For Now, and the list goes on & on!!
I hope you enjoy the walk through the space & can make it to the auction this weekend (May 14 - 16, Janet's Birthday!) So many incredible pieces up for auction, not only beautiful costumes but also her jewelry, furniture, tour equipment, fashion sketches, childhood dolls, and just about anything you would wish for as a superfan of this beautiful and talented performer with a heart of gold.
A portion of all the proceeds are also going to Janet's charity, Compassion International, because like her brother, and the entire Jackson family they are extremely philanthropic. Enjoy!

She literally auctioning off everything she ever wore in her life she should have turned all this into a museum.
That would have been amazing, but she wanted the fans to be able to own these items. I do wish that Neverland was turned into a museum though.

It's never too late, welcome to the JanFam!! I have a video on my channel from her last tour in 2018 and still think she is in her prime, so enjoy! I know it's not the same as being there in person but you'll have to go to the BLACK DIAMOND tour next year!
You have no idea. Seeing it in the rearview is no comparison to how it felt. Janet Didnt just release albums. She created ERAS. Her typical album ran for 6-7 singles, most of which spurred remixes and even b sides that were often more popular than the actual singles. Then her tours...EXTRAVAGANT. She was a force to be reckoned with and my absolute favorite artist of all time.

I know, a lot of us fans feel the same way! But some may still end up in The Grammy Museum or Rock & Roll Hall of Fame if the new owners decide to loan the items out.

Maybe, all I know is she is very tiny! If you look at the Julien's Auctions catalog I'm sure it lists her shoe size for those lots.
Ok please tell me Janet is alive and well. I was driving mom's Denali across the country. Except she needed to fall asleep so I could do 95 mph for a decent amount of. Mom liked this song played it out full keyboard style. If I didn't make time I would lose the apt. Thank God she played this song and fell asleep. I made tine. Oh and now it's 2022 and I want to buy it. Dad is resistant. It's a dad maintained vehicle good for 200k more miles. Let me have it. It has tank qualities I want. Gas milage don't care. My regular pickup guzzles a lot of gas.
