- This is a really cool record store in North Arlington, NJ and the owner is a friendly, old-school metalhead!

Cool to see younger people still get into Metal!
Cool to see a Type O Negative logo!!
Yea, I’m almost 30 and still love the music.
Great video! My husband and I love Dave’s shop and always go and give him our hard earned coin.
Such a cool store. I grew up with record stores. Sadly, there are so few left.
Yeah I totally hear ya. That’s why we gotta support the ones that we have now 👍🏼
@@littlepunkpeople Yes, agree.
I’ve been there twice, I’ve found some pretty good shit there
Great video little punk dude! I live in Vegas and there's no record stores out here that have good Metal sections so its cool to see a store that carries alot of old school Metal merchandise still!! I hope it survives.. Rock on!!
Angel Witch! \m/..saw that back there lol. I gotta check this place out. I like this kid's videos for a while now. Us old heads can def appreciate what he does on here. If I had a son I'd want him to be like this kid 👍. Cheers
Ever been to Vintage Vinyl in NJ? That place closed down back in July. Iconic place that will be missed.
Yes, we’ve been there many times. It’s sad that it’s gone but I’m happy about this new record shop 🤘🏼
Love interviews with shop owners or just punk / metal collectors. Great channel too! Been watching for a while. Great pick ups
Wish I had my dad's old record player, it was a pioneer and heavy duty, back when they built quality stuff. Also a nice record store like this in my area would be nice
Interesting video, would love to see more like this one
Very cool shop! I need to check it out! Thank you for posting this!
That’s awesome, thanks for sharing guys. I’m not too far from North Arlington and never knew of this spot. Will have to stop by one of these days.
They’re brand new! Tell em we sent ya! Thanks!
Great show Elliott. I'll have to win that lottery now. Do some nationwide/roadtrip/vinyl search! 🍺
We need a Metal shop in Wisconsin again...kool place, great interview...
Wish there were more dudes like him in terms of collecting Metal and Punk. I’m of the same ilk.
Awesome shop! dude has Venom, Paul Chain and Saint vitus records!
VENOM!!!!
seriously! they even have Crass, which is rare in my area
Dave is amaziiing.
Vinyl Addiction is great. Amazing selection, knowledgeable staff & fair prices. Highly recommend!
I have one of those old Slayer promo photos signed. Gosh, I've probably had it for 35 years. I should dig it out.
Yes you should it should be on the wall!!.
Cool store, wish I could go
More record store videos!!! Love it
Will do! Thanks!
this kid is great. he is so enthusiastic about music. keep it up little guy. much love from the uk🖤
Elliott man this is so so so so awesome!! Love to see you do what you’re doing… carrying the torch of this killer music.
Side note: I know this is a long shot, but if you guys are ever in Canada I own a shop called Second Chance Records in Caledonia Ontario. (Maybe we’ve even got some Canadian friends watching this!)
Anyway man, you just keep doing what you’re doing. Keep the record stores alive. I totally love it bro!! 🤘🏽🎶
Man I just moved out of Lodi last year. NOW they open a record store over there?
That's how it goes.
Goodbye Misfits central

Thanks! My Metallica Kill Em All signed by James Hetfield is definitely one of my favorite records that I own.
Great clip Elliott. The Adolescents debut album rips!
Wish you still made these kinda videos
I will make some more!
Great interview, Elliott. Hey Dave! Looking forward to doing a release event for the new Overlorde album in 2022! Elliott, be sure to come up and attend when it happens.- M.E.
Lil Punk Elliott has grown up on us. Keep doing your thing young man!
\m/(*_*)\m/
Will do. Thanks!!!
The H3 skull mask 🤤
Local small record stores have very similar layouts in the stores
It's good, that we don't have a music store like that in our place.
Because then I would probably spend all my money on music.
Paul chain!
Hey dude I was just wondering from your older vids how you got to interview all these artists. Did they have meet and greets at the time? Especially for James Hetfield because I thought he stopped doing those due to signature related issues
🤘
Great shirt!!!
Thanks!
The hat is way better.
Awesome hat!!!
Family Man, with yr Christmas lights 🎄
and your well-stocked garage 😆

Do you like the new LA guns album
haven’t heard it, yet
cool
You're not a little punk no more. Happy new year buddy!
Happy New Year!!!
Still a little punk.
Kanye is a musical genius
Excellent choice with the Celtic Frost 'Monothiest' LP...(one of the best and most diverse metal albums in the 2000s in my opinion). Turn up 'Drown In Ashes' for me man!!
I saw that tour in 2006...House of Blues Anaheim (California)
@@anthonyrivers1619 Yeah man!! My girl and I saw them also in Chicago in 2006 w/1349 opening. Then in Sep 2007 we got to see Type O Negative with Celtic Frost opening! As we walked up the famous staircase of The Metro to get to the venue room...'Dawn Of Meggido' started to play (a memory I will never forget!!). Later in October of 2010, Triptykon came through Chicago and as 1349 were playing, I stepped outside to give my ears a break...a lonely lady was looking for a lighter. I don't smoke and just starting talking about the show instead and a few others joined the circle in the cold. After 5 minutes or so, I notice a strangely familiar-looking person (with a distinctive black knit hat) walking off a tour bus parked out front...it was Tom Gabriel Fischer walking right towards our little circle of misfits!! Tom comes up behind 'smoking girl' and embraces her and gives her a 'lovers kiss' while the rest of us are literally starstruck and looking at each other like..."Woah, that's Tom Warrior...wait, what???" -ha!! A few minutes later, Tom is spotted by a group of fans (one of them was sweating profusely and gasping for air as he held original Celtic Frost LPs in his hands). Tom was super-cool and starts signing each record...then he sees the infamous 'Cold Lake' LP and Tom and starts shaking his head somewhat grunting "Oh man" with a bittersweet smile as he signs the cover (haha...it was so awesome!!). I had just bought the Triptykon 'Shatter' mcd at the merch table...so I just grabbed it out of my pocket and walked over to him (while he was holding a marker) with the cd jewel case open and Tom happily signed the inner booklet page (I don't think I'll be getting rid of that cd anytime soon!!). Triptykon played a truly unforgettable set under beautiful cold-blue stage lights and not to brag...but bassist Vonja was seemingly making eye-contact with me throughout the show!! This is the magic of the Chicago music scene (I actually live within the endless fields of corn and soybeans 3 hours south of there where stories like this just don't happen).
@@vesuviacorpseflower4828 Damn, man! One of the best concert stories I have read anywhere! Not trying to top that, but Tower Records West Hollywood, on their final day in business, hosted Celtic Frost in 2006 - I took my oldest son as we had already seen them in concert a few weeks prior, and the band signed our Monotheist concert poster (now framed) and my beloved To Megatherion record album cover which is now framed!
I bought Morbid Tales on vinyl in 1985, so I get nostalgic too...great stuff there buddy!🤘
@@anthonyrivers1619 DUDE!! Buying a copy of 'Morbid Tales' in 1985 completely tops my story man!! I was 3 yrs old then -haha! (TOTAL OLD-SCHOOL RESPECT!!!!). Hey man, wanted to ask...can you recommend any other cool obscure heavier death-thrash bands that you knew of back in the day? I'm always scouring UA-cam for the truly underground stuff (Hexx (CA), Infernal Majesty (Can), Minotaur (Ger), Malfietor (WA DC), RAVAGE (FL), Master (IL), Deathstrike (IL), Burnt Offering (IL), Post Mortem (MA), etc!! -Devon
@@vesuviacorpseflower4828
I would recommend the following bands:
Death Angel (Killer catalog - still going!)
Dark Angel - any of their 80's albums
Possessed - Stellar!
Death - their entire catalog!
Destruction (German Thrash)
Kreator (German Thrash)
Sodom (German Thrash)
Testament (Bay Area Thrash)
If I think of More, I'll reply...
Onslaught (British Thrash) - entire catalog!
ADOLESCENTS!!!!!
😆👏🏿💥🧨🤘🏻
You're lucky to find a store like that with all genders cuz music is freedom but we're all metalheads and I'm pretty sure some people are redheads punkheads every kind of hair you've got we got it let's go...
best record store for metal!
Monotheist, hope you picked it up!
Yes, we picked it up!
Epic comeback!
