Surely the holy grail was the little collection of Adidas casual shoes in the 80's (Korsika, Palermo, Tenerife) all distinctive and iconic (from 82 to 85) if you had those shoes now you're proper 80's casuals, made in Yugoslavia as well.
The Adidas torsion released in 1989 are one of my favourite Adidas of all time & the NMD’s are proper comfy and not forgetting the Stan Smiths & the Forest Hills
ZX 600 were the daddys when I was a boy, EVERYONE wanted them but at £60 a pair in 1985, not everyone got them (me included) But my ultimate holy-grail is/was the ZX 450.
Jeans, Cords, Munchen, Hamburg, Malmö , love the pink Padiham and the caramel type colour. Handball Spezial. My Spezial Blackburn ( Ewood) and Malmö net on their way to me as won both I entered raffle for at Hanon. Can’t wait for the scarlet Blackburn with green laces and heel and blue outer soles. Top colour way with the gold outlined Lancs rose near back on side. Gary and team played a blinder with these. Absolutely gorgeous.
Those green Trimm Trabs! Thing oh beauty. Seen a few collectors top 5 or top 10 and they don’t include Stan Smith or Gazelle. It amazes me this as they’re a staple of any adidas top list in my opinion.
I agree with sl 72, samba, stan smith, superstar, gazelle og the rest not so mutch . You got munchen, broomfield, lod raver, splz, trx, Beckenbauer etc etc
