- This throttle governed-- not hit and miss --was built in 1923 by International Harvester and restoring this 6 HP (horsepower) McCormick-Deering was a great deal of fun! I'm in the process of completely tearing the engine down and totally rebuilding it. This is my first old engine restoration project so come on along!
In this episode we begin final assembly!

Your voice over work reminds me of an old tractor VHS tape I use to watch and it's awesome.
I'm on the edge of my chair in anticipation of the next installment!
Anticipation of final assembly and running this magnificent engine is growing!
Thank you for another excellent video. I feel like I’m there with you. It’ll be running in no time!
Thanks Jay. You're going to need something for it to drive. A big centrifugal pump or generator would be good.
Field Day generator time! 🤠
really enjoying your videos,,,,
Very nice work!
Thanks a lot!
Top notch! 👍🏻
Muy buen trabajo saludos
Muchas gracias. Feliz año nuevo amigo!
Nice work but I don't like RTW on old engines but it's just me.
I have a also a 6hp and a cast a new sleeve for that and bay a new sleeve gasket from USA and that was a square rubber seling not a o-ring. It's a very nice engine and you gonna be werry satisfied 👍
I think you meant RTV. All I did was follow the Shopdog's suggestions. He knows more about it than I do! I agree that a square gasket would be nice but what's done is done! Thanks for you comment though!
@@Radiotexas Good job and nice engine indeed 👍 I have seen Shopdods video an make some valves like I he did and it works great so his video is very good to see as well. Hope you enjoy your engine for menny years
