- US President Joe Biden seemingly struggled to eat his food during the White House Correspondents' Association dinner on Saturday.
A video of the moment circulated on X with users mocking the oldest-ever sitting president.
“I’m surprised they’re letting him eat on camera,” wrote one user.
The 81-year-old was joined by First Lady Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the Correspondents' Dinner.
President Biden spoke at the event about the upcoming November election, his age and former US president Donald Trump.
The 81-year-old referenced Trump’s hush-money trial in New York, poking fun at the former president’s precarious position.

I have seen my grandfather eat like this at near 90. He even lets out a small grunt while slowly moving his mouth to the fork. This is just embarassing. The strong country of the USA is represented by a gaff machine, that trips and falls constantly.
My step-dad got dementia and his mind started going first, next his ability to walk and move and swallow food.
I also had a father with dementia, this type of activity was quite present
My gran started getting difficult with food. It was hard to feed her. I ended up feeding her baked beans and chips, or egg and chips. I had no assistance from family who should have been helping. Well until she had silent seizures, then they were forced to step in she would feed or try to, most of it to the cat. Dog we had to put down or the dog would have enjoyed the meal as well. She was basically wasting away. After the second incident, she ended up in the home with a brain tumour and newly diagnosed dementia
