Have you looked at the back bypass around St. Andrews sound? There is the full route which needs high tide and a modified route which is a little exposed near the south end of Jekyll.
I have! We may take it at some point just to try it out and possibly add it to this series as a separate video. It looks like we could make it with our 4.5’ draft but it still looks tight. Other than St. Andrews being a pain with wind we always see sea turtles which makes it fun!
Aidan you little doll! Big kisses from Aunt Lorraine
New to your channel. Looking forward to watching your journey
I also like cutting south at #30 bypassing that jog out to sea. Only good at higher tides.
I went all the way out only once, always cut off at #30 since then, but never hit it at or near low. Soundings seemed pretty accurate.

I’m gonna single hand a 30 ft sloop down icw at end of this summer. Thx for posts. Any advice?
Funny note: your video and pivot’s video are at the same location but different timeline this week.
I totally realized that after I posted our video last night!
An engineer should look into why that outboard is being balky. :)
As with nearly all outboard issues, cleaning the carbs seemed to do the trick 😂
Engineer??? Wow. Man o man, You meant to say MECHANIC.
@@timothyzingg4226 They were joking because Andy is an engineer and also our mechanic ☺️
