Hey man, I can see you’re just starting out on UA-cam, and what a first video! You’re already good at what you do just from looking at this. I wish you luck with the channel and hope you get great catches just like these! All the best
Interesting first video. Shooting a cop though is just about one of the stupidest things you can do. You might as well have just signed away the rest of your life in an instant.
What do the steady, non flashing emergency lights mean when the unmarked cars arrive at the scene? Is it so they can be recognized or has it a specific meaning?
When you see bearcats and a lot of unmarked units responding, you know someone has made big trouble. By the way, i assume the Suburban at 4:28 is the Marshals since Suburbans are mostly used by federal agencies
Or even make them steady, I’m guessing maybe to not draw to much attention to what’s happening so they don’t cause a crowed of people. Or so it’s not so blinding to other and distracting to drivers.
Just imagine if they responded the same way for Regular working people..They might actually stop crime instead of reporting it to whichever media outlet pays the most.
Those wasn't undercover cars responding those were swat personal, everyone who works in swat for lapd get those unmarked to take home , most f the armor trucks are empty when arriving on the scene
Ebony.. as a given, common denominator for car/suv purchases for: Police Officers, in general .... sure looks good @ 🌃 night... with .... all lights & sirens lit. 👍
Yes he was after hours of them searching, one of LAPD’s K-9 tracked down the suspect who was hiding in a tent on the sidewalk nearby with some homeless people who let him stay in the tent.
I believe it is the unmarked silverado you see at the end of the video, can't confirm but i'm pretty sure since I know U.S Marshalls were at the scene, and that looks like it'd be what they would drive.
This is technically a code 2 response in which these hard working officers are only using the sirens and lights when necessary to make traffic move and alert them of their presence
ua-cam.com/video/f58SnsafMpM/v-deo.html watch this video, that video is for a shooting that happened recently and multiple people were shot (none of those people shot were officers) and there was a major police response as well. Obviously when a cop gets shot and the suspect is still on the lose they’re gonna send the Calvary because it’s one of their own and they’re family to each other, just like if something happened to one of your family members, you and your family would have that family members back. Just because they have major responses when something happens to an officer doesn’t mean they don’t care when it happens to other people.
Impressive way to begin a channel on UA-cam, dope vid!

I like the swat truck
I concur. 383rd sub. Let's see how high it goes. Lol
Geez, they rolled every vehicle they had to get that bastard, great video!
When bearcats and a lot of unmarked units are responding, you know someone has made big trouble
Great video! Tell the SWAT type rig to turn off the port side scene lights (and front scene).
GREAT VIDEO!! I love how the cars are just there like bearcats.
Interesting first video.

Why mostly unmarked, is that swatt? Crash?
CHP chargers are the meanest looking cop cars
💯
great video. hope officer was ok
Thanks! Luckily the officer survived, unknown if he will or has made a full recovery due to how many times he was shot.

What do the steady, non flashing emergency lights mean when the unmarked cars arrive at the scene? Is it so they can be recognized or has it a specific meaning?
Steady is standard on ALL ca agencies
Really nice video! That is pretty close to my house

Not completely. Metro SWAT does have unmarked Suburbans and Tahoes as well

Why do many of the units turn off their headlights while approaching the scenes?
Maybe not blind people🤷🏿♂️
So we don’t blind the guys when arriving. We do the same when we pull into the station and leave

Chevy Caprice 😍
Yeah the LAFD one at 2:16 is a 2014 Chevy Caprice (shop number 03784) assigned to Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA).
Why does some of them turn off their front lights
What happened?
How come in Cali some police cruises have amber and blue ?
Law
I like the steady solo red light in the front windshield and with the amber and blue in the left rear window
CA law mandates at least 1 steady burning red to the front and a flashing amber and blue to the rear. Anything additional is just a bonus.
3 fucking Bearcats and the biggest SWAT vehicle you can get. SICCKKKKKKK
Yessir!
So many undercover units
Probably senior officers like chief of department, chief of special ops, district commanding officer, watch commander, ETC.
@@jonarmedpiandsecurityoffic9051 Negative, 99% of those were SWAT guys. They get their own take home cars.

This is technically a code 2 response in which these hard working officers are only using the sirens and lights when necessary to make traffic move and alert them of their presence
Wrong. Most of the units were all responding code 3 and downgraded once they got near the scene.
Negative. It was code 3 when arriving at the scene you downgrade because there’s no need to use lights and siren on scene it’s already contained.
nice
I hope the caught the suspect
May I recommend not having that message pop up every damn 10sec
Cool
Funny how when it's one of their own it's a full scale response...This happens to anyone else they don't care

there are plenty of agencies that care for both their people and the people they serve. let’s exclude uvalde pd and sheriff.
Cop killers deserve no mercy.
nice handsome but don't lasd unmarked police unmarked bet
So what is Code 3? Does anyone in LA use plain and simple terminology?
Code 3 means emergency, which means they use lights and sirens to respond to the emergency call.
