Why I'm Purging My PS2 Collection?

It's Time, today is the day to start purging the collection, starting with my PS2 collection. Collection for PS2 has got out of control and I need to be more focused again and more selective on what I pick up. We go through our entire PlayStation 2 collection and get rid of some games we will never play!

I recommend swapping cases around before purgeing so you have the best condition cases.

I’m keeping in my collection/buying new games aiming just what I really like. I don’t care anymore about rare, hard to find or cheap games. The result I got buying a lot was a unorganized room full of stuff I didn’t even enjoy. I prefer today to have 100 games that I love than 10000 games around. Sometimes less is more.

Couldn't agree more, my dude. Space is a premium, too. Not everyone can have a games room. Sometimes, you have to settle with what little space you have and utilise it correctly.

I absolutely loved driv3r when it came out. I dpubt it holds up now though. I remember picking it up years ago and not liking it to much and it kinda hurt my nostalgia

Definitely stronger than me😅 i really cant bring myself to let any of my games go but i have no space for them. I just keep buying them and never get round to playing them. Have well over 2000 (multiple systems) and theres probably 100 - 200 that i would actually play... proper addicted 😢

I get it, man. Its hard to let go, especially when you've spent a lot of time going out and collecting.
For me, though, I found that it's taken the fun out of collecting when I just pick up anything.
Now, focusing on a list of titles will bring back the thrill of collecting again for me. Thanks for watching my dude

i did a huuuuge game collection purge back in 2018. My gf and I split up , I wanted to downsize bad. I had 4000 games mostly sega stuff. Love Sega , I was a full collection guy. But I had to be honest with myself 80% of those games were dust collectors. I wasn't playing them , they didn't mean anything to me. So I purged alot. Went from 4000 games down too around 800 from all different systems. I know 800 still sounds alot but I still play them all the time. I got a history with them , I can pick it up and talk about a place I was at when I played it. Went my mates house , he had this game etc. I deffo recommend a purge to some collectors, It can get quite addictive , and it's always great walking in CEX on the hunt also hearing a new game drop through the letter box from ebay.

I had to throw out some surprises, lol. Yeah, I plan to get the Killzone HD trilogy on ps3 anyway so I don't need the PS2 version. As for Star Wars, I got my nostalgia fix on that one so I doubt I'll play it again. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂

007 Nightfire is one of my all time favourite games. I found it to be constantly fun missions/ gadgets /score.
It made me feel like bond.
It must have released at the perfect time when i was Bond obsessed.
Have you made a video regarding your favourite video games or ones specific to a console ?

The 'favourite games' videos are coming. However, picking out my favourites is going to be really difficult. Of all time and console specific.
I agree 007 Nightfire is great. My favourite bond game is 'Everything or Nothing' as I feel it has a perfect balance of bond shooting action and driving set pieces. Thanks for watching 👌👍
