Don't know fellas... To me he sounds super nerdy and also seems like he couldn't come up with any flaws of the interior so he made up some Shit just to fill up the time... Didn't not enjoy this review. I'm thumbs up for Alex on autos
I got my X3 M40i 4 months ago and was disappointed that it didn’t have the M Steering wheel... thought when the X4 came out it would and I was wrong. BMW owes every M40i/M package owner a steering wheel.

Those taillights look really good.
I don't like the way they changed the back of the M4 tail lights too. It's looks like an economy car now. Not an M. And they separated the X4 from the M4.0i--- Why? Put it all back together on the top far right of the car. What are they doing?

I absolutely think this looks better than the previous gen. I hated the first one and I am seriously considering trading in my Stelvio for this new X4 when my lease is up.
Thought about the X4 but decided on the X3 M40i as the backseat is something I value. Love the car and it’s fun enough to endure the daily commute.
I drive an X4 M sport 35d (diesel) as BMW refused to give us any petrol versions or the M40i in the U.K. back then. New X4 looks great, petrol versions are coming to the U.K. including the M40i. My grouse is BMW could do a bit more to make the X4 even more visually sportier than its X3 sibling beyond just giving it a coupe design at the back. Can we get sportier wider tyres, even as paid option, please, and can we get the option for alcantara or a smaller chunkier steering wheel. And BMW should provide the paid option to lower the suspension (as available on X5 and X6) being that this X4 is actually the link between X3 and X5/X6. Provision of more premium/luxury/executive/performance paid options would be a good idea too. Most of us in the U.K. feel this way.
Final grouse is that BMW are taking forever to bring the X4M to market. I’ve been holding on to money I’ve saved for a X4M and waiting for it to arrive yet no play.

My girl has a X4 ...it is nice when you are in the front seats, but the sloping roofline makes the back almost unusable!...GA, USA

I personally don't understand the appeal of these "coupe/SUV" things. They end up doing nothing very well, except perhaps, looking cool. They don't handle like coupes, unless you get the M model. They can't be used as SUV's. And they aren't as spacious as the regular SUV models. What's the deal?
I can tell you from what i researched about people buying suvs it's cause of:
-comfort
-size(safety + space)
-visibility
-feeling better just cause you have bigger car (kinda ego buyers)
-to impress some people
Truth...I understand regular SUV's. Just not like this one, the X4. Coupe SUV's.
I own the x4 m40, because it looks great, and, I can. Most people who own these don’t care about practicality at all and probability don’t have kids. That said, I can totally haul people around and my bikes. AWD and an ECU tune makes ///M cars think twice. DC
Where is the Crossover? BMW dosen't make Crossovers but SAV's with a driveshaft... CUV's are FWD based.... 5K max towing too...
Can't wait for Lexus to launch their UX 250h fsport. Awd 45-50mpg and reliable as f. Won't perform quite like these though!

Allooo UX is 2 times smaller thant this X4.UX it's in the class of X1,X2.The new X3/4 are in the class of mid size SUV,not small crossovers like UX.And last but not least.Lexus in not real premium brand
UX is not 2x smaller, that's an absurd statement. The X4 is bigger, yes. Technically it would be in the same class as a NX. However, the X4 has some of the smallest cargo capacity in its class. What good is a longer wheelbase and longer vehicle if the space isn't used efficiently? The X3 has 10 more cubic feet of cargo area with the seats in the up position, and when folded down has 14 more cu.ft than x4. So while the x4 has the exterior size of a midsize suv, the interior space is WORSE than the subcompact X3, X2, and on par with Q3.

Nice, but the back looks too much like the Mercedes. I opted for the X3M40i. What a ride, and beautiful. Rear is nicer as it looks more BMW ish.

No they didn’t do enough. I drive a Macan S Diesel in Europe but still miss my Gen 1 X6 4.0d. Is that swoopy?
Still have yet to get my hands on one of those . . . Would love to try the Macan with the diesel . . .

Once you look at the two together you will notice them more and more. I really like the X4 so i notice them immediately. I'm sure there is an aspect of that to it, to make more money, but at the same time that M40i engine is QUICK. look up the specs sometime. it's amazing

Interior was fine....Until I saw the new X5, different price points I know but the theme is kinda stale in my view
In terms if design they did exactly what they needed to do to sell this car in huge numbers here in Europe. Can't stand it but I generally can't stand either a crossover nor a SUV, so that's no news. If you want a people carrier with luggage space, buy a wagon, there are so many hot wagons out there, from the Audi S4/RS4 to the E63 AMG S & the RS6. Fun and practicality in one car. Can't believe the number of SUV'S and Crossovers they are selling in the states. It is ridiculous... But I guess the American people have spoken like they did in the last presidential elections, without going into politics.

They did a good job on the redesign, much better than the first gen. The interior is cool, but the new X5 make it look outdated.

Omar Esieed ice felt this way for awhile. They seem to get a pass for whatever reason
Gen 1 was hideous. Ugly front end, horrible side surfacing, not pretty at all. Gen 2 is much better. Still not very practical, but better (and the back end looks great).
I used to drive a Honda Crosstour, one of 2 people in the country who bought one! I don't care for the design of the X4. I think Mercedes does a better job with the GLC coupe.
