Hey there! When I export the item, even after animating the first person, it is pushed off all the way to the side of my screen, is there anyway to fix this?
The only fix I could think of at the moment is either checking the location value of the animation in Blockbench or the animation file to see if is set much further than what it actually appears within the Blockbench view.
It should be in the animate section next to your tools such as move, rotate, scale etc where you can click on it to show a drop down menu to switch between first-person, third-person and Entity View
Use the Minecraft Entity wizard plugin, then when first creating your mob, go to the loot section and select custom loot then inside the new lootpool select to add item custom ID and place the identifier of your custom item there. once that's done your mob will drop the custom item you have made
Yeah it is, it's done the same way for furnace but you'd need to create and add the recipe page to your code - I cant remember the exact code needed but there was a resource I used to first figure out recipes - I'll try and find it however it was bookmarked on an old laptop I don't have anymore
Hey, so I’m having trouble with the “animation” part of it, after I’ve saved it I can’t replace the animation(for the position of the item) with a better animation. I was wondering if you know what could be the problem or what I could to fix it?
1 solution could be to check if your animation has a keyframe that resets the position of your item after the animation is complete - if so just remove or replace that keyframe with the correct one 2nd solution is if your trying to replace the original animation file with a new one could be renaming the original something else but changing the new animation to the old animations name (hopefully to keep the animation playing in the same place without having to edit code) or just replace the old animation's keyframes with your new 1 I don't know if I misunderstood the question but I hope this helps
@@butter_crumb thank you very much and I really appreciate you for responding Edit: if your having trouble understanding me english is not my first language so sorry
In the code it should have some sort of action like spawning an entity but maybe the entity is not named correctly so the item will disappear and nothing will happen after the right click. Unfortunately i am yet to find an easy way of allowing for the item to stay once a ability is used
To save it just make sure to save the project and model (possibly texture if it was modified or changed) before you exit block bench and it should work in the game itself
It should be in the next steps section of when you create an item, alternatively you could try opening visual studio code and finding the file manually if it is just not working
I technically did when I was just starting but it was more like a rocket that shot you really high up and had you glide around but it would be cool to redo that and make it more like an actual helicopter
there isn't a template for a custom bow but you could probably use the entity spawner to create arrows fired from your item - ill see if I can replicate something similar
Blockbench creates it as a behaviour pack with the minecraft item wizard plug-in which has some documentation by Microsoft on it - so it shouldn't be banned
@@clownsers ah, you're correct about the crack-down on mods for bedrock (didn't know about that - honestly poor move on Mojang's part) but on the bright side, since this is for a custom item addon not a mod it should still work it seems Microsoft is shutting off the part that allowed for features that addons or behaviour packs couldn't do on their own (that's just from what I could find myself, if they are mentioning the removal of packs and I'm wrong I would genuinely like to find that cause I'd have to move to making java resource packs)

Hello! Could you tell me how to save the first person view and in which folder to paste it?
The first person view is saved by selecting the option in blockbench itself then just save the project again and it will work out
@butter_crumb Thank you!

Is it possible to make a crafting recipe for this item?
Yeah it is, it's done the same way for furnace but you'd need to create and add the recipe page to your code - I cant remember the exact code needed but there was a resource I used to first figure out recipes - I'll try and find it however it was bookmarked on an old laptop I don't have anymore
@butter_crumb Ok, well if you do find it, a video about it would be really helpful!

You wouldn't even have to use the item wizard
