I saw NMH a few weeks ago and was lucky enough to meet Jeff afterward and I asked him if we'd ever hear 'Snow Song Part 2' and he said 'Well there's lots of parts to that song, so maybe one day'
It’s 2023, and we just got announced a new reissue Box Set, and “Little Birds” made it to Spotify (Apple Music, BandCamp, etc.) So the odds of a Snow Song Pt. 2 happening one day so LONG from then is low, but not too low
I really thing 2:50 is a better example of Jeff and them rocking out to 2 chords. like his entire figure is just with it, the 2 chord sol of beauty and we won't ever understand why he went into that solo but something about that part hit something in him, and it's is amazing.
He moves his body in such a way that seems as if he's in a drunken stupor. Of course he isn't, he's just so in tune with his music that he let's it take him wherever it flows. I love him.
Sorry for coming off a bit hash then, mate. But really, have you any idea how impossible it can be to read something that hasn't a lick of punctuation? Either way, I think it was the comment about how country music fans should move to "somewhere like Ethiopia" that rubbed me the wrong way.

I love this song with every fiber of my being.
This is my favourite version of this song. And now I find out that this particular performance was taped. Joy, pure joy.
Icecream Floats and dreams makes me smile every time
i love this song so much
This performance of the song is absolutely perfect. Definitely one of my favorite neutral milk hotel songs. Jeff's sweater is key.

@sleepyat2am atually "Snow Song Part 1" became part 2 of "Rubby Bulbs"

I would agree with you more had you not said it such an ignorant way. And for God's sake, can we please use at least a little punctuation?
