I definitely agree on the map design thing! It's refreshing to play on maps with such good flow for a change. I frequently watch your videos, mostly to hear your commentary and opinions on certain topics but it's nice to see you actually play this while truly focusing on the game itself and hearing you speak so passionately about it. Vod designs maps to punish you with spawns I swear I only get certain bad spawns or enemy spawns after a killstreak or good game almost like there's different spawns based on your sbmm

I wouldn’t go as far as saying cod community deserves better because they really don’t, it’s their attitude towards the devs around cod4 - bo2 that got them screwed over when they kept crying it’s the same game, and now that cod devs have been making games so different each year they cry and say it’s too different and too much has changed, so the cod community has got what it’s been asking for, that’s why the saying goes like this, “be careful of what you wish for”

This game is gonna blow up but for not how long people think it’s gonna last all it takes is for cod to drop 1 good game or update and everyone will come back especially how Big BRs are now in shooter games people will get bored of just the MP only type of game
@@SouthernHavoc they just don’t care anymore, there was a point they did and that was when there was competition and so that made them listen to the people, and the people kept crying on how the games are reskins, and so they listened but didn’t pay attention to the finer details, and then we got cod that was a titan fall clone and halo clone with the stupid movement changes, if the community didn’t say anything about the games being the same then they wouldn’t care, it’s funny how XD isn’t even out yet and they are already getting surveys out for WZ2 and MW2 already, because they have been seeing people saying it’s a cod killer and that is a threat to them and now they going to counter that threat, but how well they do that time will tell, I personally think if they just took SBMM out of cod completely, that would be more than enough to shut down XD or anything that comes out in the future, cod is a amazing experience but when the algorithms are not being oppressive and making sure you don’t get a win that part is the only part that kills of any joy that can be had in cod
@@YoDereck BR’s are slowly dying out, people are getting bored of them slowly, games like XD and the finals responses from the gamers is a testament to that fact, these are arena shooters and they’re feedback back and extremely high response from everyone is a show that there’s a huge huge player base left for MP games and 6V6 arena shooters are still well desired

The thing that XDefiant is missing (in pubs) right now is fun things to use. Fun melee weapons, trolly things, and party modes. If they put anything like that in this game, it'll have so much variety and it's a good thing.

I think the biggest issue so far is desync, other than Dsync the most broken thing in the game is the libertad characters bio ability. A good nerf for her would be no boosted HP and no team healing just have it be like a stim shot.
Team healing makes sense, they are healers after all, the problem right now is that they help more themselves than others with their abilities so they need to be nerfed on that front. Plus i strongly feel there should be a faction limit, I'd say 2 characters per faction max
Keep the team healing, that's cool and encourages teamwork. Just make it so total health doesn't increase

It would be cool if they made a way for players to create camos and send them in to be voted on to enter the game since this is new and they want to keep the community involved. That would be something no other game has and could definitely attract more feedback and activity from players in the community
Better yet, remember when COD allowed us to create our own Clan Emblems? Yeah I want THAT back lol. My group of guys would either get super creative and artsy with it… or our favorite was taking turns spending hours while the others ran matches…during which time the person creating one would have the best, most offensive emblem towards anyone in our group 😂 never failed at having us fukkin rolllin… Long Story Short, bring back that magic lol

They can definitely support it with ubisofts support, now split gate was only like 3 developers and they couldn’t support the game enough

the maps are actually insane. The existence of this game proves that its not hard to make a good arcade shooter with great maps, Activision and Infinity Ward are just intentionally ruining cod.

I've been having the same problem with the snipers not shooting on KBM. think it might just be a bug but you're right it happens at the worst times!

not gonna lie these xdefiant videos from jev are fire and actually have fun watching it
love this game tbh, having a lot more fun then i thought i would. For some reason the gameplay makes the gunplay look like its mobile game quality when in reality it feels pretty good. Ive been sniping a lot too, and the reason your bolt is locking is because of your left stick. You know how on old cods walking around in your scope wasnt really viable i.e. ballista cpu in FFA vs Not. In MW2019 they changed how the gunplay reacts to the movement cause its on a new engine, so you see a lot of moving in the scope in sniping compared to old school cod. This game embraces the old
movement, you let your thumb off that left stick when you are at the peak of your quickscope i promise you'll stop feeling those bolt locks. LOOVE YOU JEV.
1:18 this has happened to me so many times, idk why it happens but it won't let you shoot. I thought at first it was just me trying to shoot too fast but it's not. Sometimes it won't let you shoot and you have to aim out fully then aim back in to shoot, but by that time you are usually already dead
Its crazy how your takes are literally the same as mine. The flow of the maps are AMAZING. The clip potential you can get in this game is crazy good, like how old cod was. We can finally use map knowledge to our advantage again and pop off for real in this game. Man I really hated the new cod spawns, it felt super bad and unpredictable. I hope Xdefiant keeps up to date on their game to keep making improvements overtime and keep it alive, there's so much going for it right now

I also find myself not being able to shoot sometimes. I don't think the bolt time is inconsistent, I just think the animation does not represent well how long it actually takes for your character to do the bolt action. It kind of reminds me of the L11 from Ghosts after it got nerfed.

Jev love this vid but most of the maps that they use are assets from the open world game the division 2 if you didn't know but this game looks really good also the cleaners are one of the groups of enemies from the division and i cant wait to play it
Tried playing XDefiant but there are no local lobbies which suck but the game takes me back to BO2 with a few small aditions from mw2019, the slide and the way snipers ads being the 2 that are very noticeable. I would definitely like to try this in a 10ping lobby, 180+ is a bit hectic!
