Well in the last 3 AC or so, there was a option for 2 characters to play with. I personally would've played both tbh but the hate over a CGI Trailer is unnecessary

And what's more, in some places they won't even buy the game due to the abusive price (like in Brazil where the base game costs almost 400 and the full version with all the additional content goes for almost 800. Seriously, there is a lot of lack of things to do in many cases unfortunately.

Yasuke isn't a fictual character. He was the first black samurai. His history is more a myth and legend in the culture
He was never a Samurai. Just a servant and retainer. They been changing his lore to fit the game to make it believable which makes it worse.
