When influencers go back through some of their past racist tweets and videos, why do they say that they're shocked, surprised, and horrified? They shouldn't be because they're the ones that made those comments. They are neither shocked, surprised or horrified. The word that they should be using is EMBARRASSED.

You think your brain is going to be the same from the time you’re a teenager to when you turn 25? That it just doesn’t grow and no one matures? If they wrote those things as fully grown adults then yes, I agree with your sentiment of once a racist always a racist. But minors?? Go to any high school and listen to what they say. They repeat what they hear at home. Plus the internet was wildly racist (ex. Shane Dawson) back then that it’s common for kids to be influenced by it. It is just not that simple.
