    Wow, I have had chickens over 25 years, and I never had them dig a hole like that. Granted the last 15 years I have been in the desert so they didn't need to with this type of land. You go girl.

    Thank you for your insight on caring for the birds as well.
    I am breeder of parrots and Finches and rescue other native Australian birds. The biggest issue with their health aside from vehicles and predator is parasites.
    Most people don't ever think about worming their birds.
    Sorry that you had to do this video 2ce. Lester also did a live with the glasses that turned out to be a silent video. Naturally he didn't know until he was was able to read the comments. 😅.

    The beef and chicken industry hit hard here in Texas. Between the fires and bird flu it’s going to raise prices. Already having a hard time affording groceries now more disasters to our farmers trying to provide beef, chickens and eggs. Hope your flocks remain healthy, know you are taking good care of your animals.

    Brooke's and Jason's videos are always entertaining and informative. Much of the info shared is ALL NEWS to me. My maternal grandparents lived on a dirt farm in Southern Bama. We lived up to 5hrs away due to Daddy's job so we usually 3 times per year. That was the extent of my experiences with farm life. I have learned more about farming from this channel than my previous 73yrs. I am grateful and feel extremely fortunate.

    Good morning! I bet the urge to say to heck with it was strong. I admit to never thinking about the hens needing treatment, too. The thought of trying to treat all 48 with one of you holding the bird, while the other administered the eye dropper was a giggle, but I'm glad you didn't have to do that. Stay safe!

    What I give my chickens for worms and anything else they may get I give them garlic chopped up it’s a natural dewormer, what I do is get 3 big spoonfuls of garlic put it on a plate and give it to them they love it
