BIG Striped Bass on Topwaters! CT River Kayak Fishing

Experience the late-spring run of big striped bass on the lower Connecticut River off Old Lyme with kayak anglers from Black Hall Outfitters. June is prime time for catching trophy bass on topwater near the river mouth, and kayaks provide an exciting and productive mode of attack. love that giant spook for top water strikes. You guys sure do have a nice office to work in with all the tools... thanks for posting this really nice video! Having grown up in Holyoke, I look to see how many stripers swim all the way back up to the fish lift at the Holyoke dam each summer... the gentlemen that run the fish lift keep close track of these data... as you commented the Ct river truly is a beautiful river.

rebuilt a canoe to do just this. Go fishing....did I get to go this past season, no. Man do I want to get out there so bad. Just too busy. My powerboat did not hit the water till late August.
