Slow water beading can be attributed to a few things, 1) Preparation of the surface itself, was the vehicle properly decontaminated prior to application? Clay, Polish, IPA/Detox wipe down? Not doing so can definitely have an impact on durability as the Ceramic Resins need a bare finish to hold onto. This is why for example you see residue holding onto trim pieces so substantially as the formula is very rich in durable, ceramic resins. (We recommend taking all purpose cleaner and a microfiber towel to gently remove.) 2) What type of soap was being used? We highly recommend Ceramic Shampoo as it does not contain any fillers that could interact with this behavior. We see you also had purchased this as well, how often was this used and if not previously were other soaps used prior? 3) We did have a bad batch of product which affected our 16oz sizing in the beginning of this year, we had since pulled 16oz off the shelves and no longer offer this option. We'd be happy to send out a return label so we can see if yours was affected and ship out a replacement at no cost. We're happy to make this right and make your experience positive! -Ethos Support
Hi Ethos, thanks for reaching out. The surface was prepped with only a clay bar and ipa wipe down. I used your ceramic shampoo for the entirety of the time I had the pro wax applied on my car. I used an IPA and microfiber clothe to clean the spots but have had no luck taking it off. I can't say if it was a bad batch or not, unfortunately I can't send it back as I have tossed out the remaining of the bottle.

I'm glad you reviewed this product because I''m definitely not going to buy it for my new 4runner.
I use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax then seal it with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions - Ceramic Spray. Beads like crazy when it rains.
